Tarver is Such a Fucking BUZZ KILL the he'll Probably STRETCH Dawson...REED WANTS Dawson to Win & Feels Nearly as Strong about him as Brother X Does, but this Fight SCARES REED...

Tarver is like Jason from the "Friday the 13th" Flicks...He WON'T Die OR Go Away...

Bad Chad has some serious offensive skills, but idk about this match-up. Smart money would be on him winning more rounds because he's better at this stage, but Tarver is so negative, inconsistent, and good in rematches that this could be interesting.

Don't care though, neither guy is terrifically compelling.

I have this feeling if Chad wins this is his last fight @ LHW. Glen and Cloud would be duking it out for a vacant trinket.

Dawson is not top 5 P4P.

Anyway, even though Tarver does well in rematches it would be hard to pick him in this rematch.

Dawson didn't clown him like Hopkins did, but it was a convincing win, Tarver didn't come close to winning.

I was in Vegas at the Palms for their first fight. I met and talked with Dawsons brother for a while and he was really excited before the fight, after the fight I saw him again and he gave me a hug and said thanks for supporting his brother. He was really proud of his brother and said that Chad was a super nice and solid guy. It was nice to see a brother so proud and happy.

I honestly forget how Dawson vs. Tarver I went. Wasn't Tarver punished a bit?

Tarver can still punch, I don't know about this fight.

If he is motivated, Tarver can whip just about anyone on a given night, but he is just so damned inconsistent.

Tarver should have gone after Klit when he was on top a few years back, wouldn't have won.. but would have made a hell of a lot of money.

Chad is a good fighter, but still carries his hands too low and leaves his chin exposed.

How can you have Vic in your top 7 and not Donaire who not only KO'd Vic but also dfeated a good fighter in Martinez?

    Horribly...and knocked down...
From the first fight you would never think he has a chance in the rematch, but knowing how good he is in rematches, ya just can't count him out...

Good question but it is safe to say Vic has done more than Donaire has since that fight...

I know I watched the fight, and I know Dawson won clearly.... but I don't remember the flow of the fight all. Weird.

Yeah, Vic is on a great run. I don't have a big problem ranking him above Donaire.

Tarver had a couple of moments, and always tried, but the word outclassed best describes it....

Forgetful fight though, but somehow I remember it all...

Absolutely. It could be a styles thing with them, but Vic was been world class for the last year or so.
