He's fighting Nate Marquardt at UFC 102. It will be an interesting fight. I'm hoping Marquardt can keep it on his feet for a while so we can gauge how much Maia works on his stand-up. He's obviously a beast on the ground, but if he can fight decently on his feet he'll be trouble for anyone.
In my opinion, Nate is a good test for Maia. Until this fight was made I was actually hoping to see Silva-Marquardt II down the road. Maia is just a gifted dude on the ground. I really want to see him tested standing. Im not sue Nate is that guy, but we will see. Interesting matchup.
