Laila KNEW She COULDN'T Beat Ann Wolfe, Which is Why the Fight NEVER Happened...Ann Wolfe Told REED PERSONALLY That She was Gonna Donate ALL of her Money from the Laila Fight to a Battered Womens Shelter...

Laila NEVER Wanted to Fight Ann Wolfe just as Christy Martin NEVER Wanted to Fight Lucia Rijker...

Women's boxing is a complete joke and it's all but dead at this point.

Laila Ali had a chance to bring the sport into the mainstream (boxing mainsteam anyways), and she completely dropped the ball. Once she got some of that "Ali" endorsement money she abandoned the sport.

The best never fought the best and promoters don't want to put women on a significant card unless they're Playboy material.

I'd lean Ali, but Wolfe stretching her wouldn't have been a big surprise.

Women's boxing is down in the US lately, but there are a couple of stars in Germany and Marcela Acuna has to be one of Argentina's most popular fighters.

Yeah she stopped Mahfood whereas Wolfe went the distance with her like Ragosina... thus she thought she has ZERO chance vs. Wolfe.
Wolfe's power is very overrated since most guys only saw the Vonda Ward KO and nothing else besides that.

Ali-Wolfe is a pickem fight if there ever was one...

Who actually gives a shit? Let's face it, you could take your average in-shape man off the street and train him to beat them both on the same night within a month.:dunno: Watching women fight is like watching a man trying to dance seductively - it's unsettling, vaguely humourous and ultimately totally ineffectual.

I think i could have KOed Regina Halmich, but i think even after a month of training, if that is not every day 5 hour training camp, the average dude has no shot against those two.

Mahfood's a TOUGH Broad who had Taken ALOT of Punishment by the Time Laila Fought Her...Ann Wolfe's Power is REAL, Dude...Vonda Ward is a HEAVYWEIGHT for Fuck's Sake; Wolfe's a Supermiddle...If Kessler KO'ed Wlad, would U Call his Power "Overrated"???....

Unlike MOST Chick Fighters, Ann Wolfe Fights like a DUDE...She'd have TORN Laila's Pretty Ass to PIECES...Laila was in the Position to Make ANY Fight She Wanted on ANY TERMS She Wanted...She Didn't Fight Ann Wolfe Because she KNEW She Couldn't Beat Her...

Well yeah it'd need to be a full training camp. Seriously though the size and strength disparity is bigger than most people realize. Walk into a boxing gym some time and spar with a competitive female fighter if you can. They'll look lethal on the pads and bags, they'll be skilled and balanced, everything you could want. But the first time they hit you you'll realize it counts for precisely shit. It's a joke. If you can hit them at all you'd win if you wanted to. Certainly I'd wager that your average under 14 boys champion would (I was gonna say 'ass rape', but that would be terribly tasteless) beat the equivalent weight world adult woman's champion with consummate ease. I just can't get into it for that reason: knowing that the best of the best would probably lose to the worst bum on the first under card fight on their show just makes it seem like a total farce to me. You admire the effort and dedication, but a tone death person can practice their singing as much as they like, I'm not gonna wanna listen to them.

Ann Wolfe would have torn Laila to pieces. I don't even think there was ever much debate. Everyone pretty much knew it would have happened and that Laila was ducking her for that very reason.

    Wolf via early rounds KO.

Wolfe fought the one that had taken alot of punishment plus the extra punishment from Laila Ali who KOed her twice. And Wolfe fought her twice... :notallthere:

And i hope for the sake of your own boxing argumentation that you did not mean that serios with the Vonda Ward is a heavyweight argument.

She had to go down to fucking 170 to fight Wolfe - If Wlad goes to supermiddle and suirvives a round against any supermiddleweight we can talk again...

For the record, I've asked Mahfood and Martin both who would have won and they each said it could have gone either way. #1 rated Super Middle Akondaye Fountain also agreed.

I think Ali would have pot shoted and run the entire 8 rounds, lol. 8x2 min rounds.. Ali was in great shape in her prime, and Ann Wolfe was often injured. I think many people pick Wolfe because they wanted to see Ali get shut up. Ali also seemed smarter and actually had training camps and fight preparations. Wolfe took fights where/when she could.

Dont get me wrong, I think Wolfe was highly vicious and admire her mental tenacity, but I also think Ali is underappreciated and assumed that she was just a name.
