Duran would've crushed him. Probably knocked him out.

The thing about Duran was that he was most dangerous when he had some space. He'd definitely have that against quasi-welterweight PBF who would lay back and try to counter just as he did against ODH and to a lesser extent Hatton.

In Duran/Leonard I the only time Leonard was seriously hurt was when Duran had some space to land his right-hand. And it was early in the fight. And I'm convinced it's why Leonard for the rest of the fight seemed to smother himself. In the rematch of course, he implemented more foot-work and didn't stay in front of Duran, which made a difference, although Duran was still able to win rounds with his rampant aggression before quitting.

So my guess is Duran's violent and speedy rhythm would have quasi-welterweight PBF on his back foot immediately. He'd mix his attack to the body and head and eventually land clean on quasi-welterweight PBF's chin. My guess is he wouldn't last the distance.

Floyd would NOT be an easy fight to anybody. He was slippery, had astonishing reflexes, good footwork when he needed it and he was surprisingly strong too. Those assets combined to Floyd's stamina and my biasment earns him a close decision win

And he would've beaten down PBF. The topic of the thread.

If you want to discuss Duran/Castillo, why not start a new thread. You're just being a child bringing up Castillo, because you know I was a fan of his.

What does he have to do with PBF vs. Duran? Well, I guess he's sort of connected in that he handed PBF his only loss. But I still say Castillo has no place in this thread.

What about a 139 and 1/4 pound Mayweather vs a 148 and 1/2 pound Duran?

Floyd would need to throw more than 5 punches a round to be competitive at all...so Duran UD 12-0

I'd say a 144lb Floyd vs a 179lb Duran, just totally out of shape and soft...

    Floyd would school his ass
