Do you think it's wise for a champion to disrespect the fans and sponsors like that? Dana has a lot of people he has to answer to afterall. The UFC is still attempting to market a professional product here and trying to get away from the barbaric image they were known for.
I don't see any other athletes in other sports flipping off the fans and talking sh*t the way Lesnar did.
I'm not sure if this is good for the UFC's image, especially considering how big this event was and all the media covering it. To have their star champion talking massive sh*t like that and being very disrespectful.
    This isn't the WWE.

I agree. Lesnar is just a big retarded jock. A "douche" as the Americans would say.

The odd thing is, I saw an interview with him once and he seemed somewhat quiet and polite, a pretty far cry from the loudmouth vulgar hillbilly we saw last night.

Lesnar's on top of the MMA world right now. He's the highest paid star in the UFC, he's the champion, and thankfully for him, there's not a whole lot of threatening competition in the UFC's horrid heavyweight ranks right now.
He could be sitting pretty and collecting big cheques for the next little while. Beats having to travel 300 days a year and living off a suitcase in the WWE.
He should enjoy it while it lasts.

Hendo has more in the tank than I gave him credit for. After the first few minutes you could see that shot was coming. The shot to the jaw was on the money, the canvas made sure and the second shot from Hendo just for good measure. I was worried for Bisping, that was nasty.

GSP - wow he just dominated the guy. His takedowns are unbelievable and even closed the fight out with an injury in the 4-5. He's gotta move up, nothing left for him at welter.

I fell asleep for the HW fight, by the sounds of things Frank was dominated.

Post-Fight presser, Dana probably reprimanded him, he apologized and was quite civil again. He even drank a Bud Light and said "I'm used to sellin Pay-Per-Views."

He is not so much a dumb jock as he is a ham for the cameras, he only knows how to do that on the villain side.

I did hear what Lesnar said after the fight but in the build up he came across as a right wanker.

Anybody have a clip of the Henderson KO? I just got home when the GSP fight was starting.

So U Expect a Guy to Just SIT THERE & ALLOW the Fans to Disrespect HIM???....The Crowd was NASTY To Brock Lesnar & REED DOESN'T Blame him 1 Bit for Lashing Out...Dude just Put On a GOOD Performance Against a VERY GOOD Opponent that Beat him Previously, yet All the Crowd Wanted to Do was BOO him???...

    Fuck That...

REED Actually LAUGHED & APPLAUDED when Lesnar Gave the Crowd the Middle Finger...

REED Can't Believe Soooooo Many of Ya'll were Put Off by GSP's Performance...REED is Still Fairly NEW to MMA, yet Thoroughly Enjoyed the Alves Fight...

Pitbull was Supposed to B the Biggest, Strongest, Nastiest Guy GSP's EVER Faced, yet the Fight Looked Like BIG Brother vs. LITTLE Brother...When U Make a TOUGH, GAME Opponent Do EXACTLY What U Want him to Do, that's IMPRESSIVE to REED...As Sooooooooooon as the Final Bell Rang, Pitbull RAISED GSP's Hand in the Air...That's how DOMINANT that Victory was...

GSP is the Fucking MAN!!!!...& Anderson Silva had BETTER Get Out of this FUNK he's Been In Lately, or GSP will RIGHTFULLY Surpass him on Most Pound for Pound Lists...

    The Henderson-Bisping KO was INSANE!!!!...

Like Others Said, U Could SEE it Coming Though...Henderson Pretty Much Fired Right Hands EXCLUSIVELY & Kept Getting Closer & CLOSER...Then he Threw a Range Finding Jab & LOWERED the BOOM on Bisping...& the Forearm was Comically SICK:lol:...Icing on the Cake!!!!...

Considering Bisping's PERSONALITY, it's Gonna B HARD for him to Shake Off a VISUAL SPECTACLE Such as that...He RAN from Henderson the Entire Fight, Put Forth Very Little (if ANY) Offense & Got VIOLENTLY Knocked the Fuck Out by a Single Punch...

True but then again, the fans are the ones paying Brock's bills too. Don't f*ck with the fans if you know what's good for ya. Brock is on top now in a junk division but success doesn't last forever.
Remember what Brock said to Dana White when they first met before Dana signed him a year back? Brock said "I don't know what else to do, I have nowhere else to go to make a living."
Last night's win was basically a do or die for Brock. Had he lost, he would've had only 1 chance left before the UFC scrapped him and he'd be back on his farm tending to his cows and sending out resumes for blue collar jobs.
This ain't the WWE. If Brock disappears tomorrow, the UFC will continue to thrive. He's not a big enough star to the point that he can start calling his own shots and flipping people off.
He already tucked his tail between his legs and apologized like a bitch during the post fight press conference when Dana threatened to take away his paycheque.
Brock can't go back to the WWE. That would be a sign of a dismal failure and since he f*cked them over by bailing out, McMahon will bury him alive. The NFL won't be calling him either.
Basically Brock better cash out while he can and make the most of his success in the UFC while the competition is weak.

Yes, I'm sure Anderson is losing sleep over some armchair dipsh*t's so-called P4P list. All the while, depositing about $400K into his bank account for an easy night's work.

I always thought Bisping was of the Forrest Griffin class. Very limited talent with a great work ethic. Bisping is not a striker, he's not a submission artist, he's just a tough dude who's in shape and works hard.
His KO loss is long past it's due date. Now his ego is shattered and he'll be guarding that chin of his delicately in future fights.

Whatever, Hanz...Even if Lesnar Lost & UFC Dumped him, he'd IMMEDIATELY End Up w/Some OTHER MMA Company...if, If, IF Lesnar Ever Reaches the Point of Getting a "Desk Job", he'll Probably B 50 Years of Age or OLDER...

& STOP OVERBLOWING Dana's Influence on Lesnar...Sure, he Gave him a TONGUE LASHING, but REED SERIOUSLY DOUBTS that Dana Said ANYTHING about Taking Money from him...

There's Areas of Lesnar's Game that OBVIOUSLY Needs Work, but U're Speaking as if he ISN"T a Very GOOD, Very EFFECTIVE Fighter...Even if the UFC Heavy Division was STRONG, Frank Mir WOULD B a Highly Ranked Guy...& Brock Lesnar just DESTROYED Him...

True but if you look at the average UFC fan; a drunk f*ck with tatoos and sh*t and saying "F*ck" about 500 times in a sentence, then there's no reason why Lesnar can't appeal to them.

Oh I agree totally. People who enjoy professional wrestling would like what they saw.

I was never in to that garbage.

Well, REED Thinks Anderson Silva is a PRIDEFUL Fighter...As Such, REED Thinks the NEGATIVE Critiques of his Last 2 Performances will POSITIVELY Affect Silva's Next Few Bouts...

ELITE Level MMAists (& Fighters in General) have EGO's...If U've Reached the Point where U're UNIVERSALLY Regarded as 1 of THE Best 2-3 Guys on the Planet, it's INTOXICATING & ADDICTIVE...As DRAB as his Personality is, DON'T Think for a Second that Fedor DOESN'T RELISH Being Regarded as THE Best MMAist Ever...During his Private, Alone Moments, Fedor Probably Dances NAKED in Front of a Mirror, Calling HIMSELF "The Man"....

So DON'T Think for a Second that Anderson Silva is CONTENT w/Getting LUKEWARM Critiques of his Fights...

At the least, Lesnar is better at representing the UFC than that slob of sh*t with 2 left feet Tim Sylvia. LOL!

Also don't forget REED that Anderson wanted to box RJJ and the UFC didn't let him. So he's got bones to pick. I think he's probably gonna ride out this contract and move on. He's probably sending a message to the UFC saying "I'll do what the f*ck I want!"

If Anderson Silva Go's to Another MMA Company or Sport, he WON'T B as HIGHLY Regarded as he Currently Is...Instead of Planning his NEXT Move, Silva Needs to STOP & SMELL The Fucking Roses...

More than Likely, RIGHT NOW is as GOOD as it's Going to Get for Him...

Well, to be fair, I have probably seen more MMA than anyone here. I recently acquired the first 53 UFC's, including Ultimate Ultimate '95 and '96, and UFC Japan (UFC Brazil I do not have) and have spent the last couple of months spending my "me" time watching. I'm finished and have watched them all. So to say I'm not trying, or even don't like this stuff would be wrong. There's a very distinct possibility that with my Pride Fighting collection, I'm the most knowledgeable MMA poster on this website. I have seen EVERYTHING.

What we saw last night was an abomination.

That is because the UFC HW division is shit. It will never compare to the days of Pride.

I ordered every single UFC live since it's birth in '92. It's greatly evolved for sure. But I felt the best years for MMA as a fan were when both UFC and Pride were competing.

Agreed. The UFC's heavyweight divison is horrendous. It's worse than boxing's heavyweight division.

But you think everything about Lesner is a joke. when he beat Randy, you said as much. Do it really doesnt matter what someone who isnt a true fan of the sport thinks.

Fact of the matter is that Lesner became even a bigger star that night. Love him or hate him, people will pay to see him. NOt just see him, but hear what he has to say. Mir was being a dick before the fight, lesner was one after the fight. I would say its about even.

Lesnar makes the sport look like a joke. It's smart to cater to the wrestling fans, don't get me wrong. But I don't have to like it, and I don't have to consider it credible.
