I win by Pacquiao will be better for the sport of boxing...but fuck all that..WAR COTTO!!!

Though tough fight for Cotto..i don't know how he is going to do it..if he can. Cotto doesn't have one punch KO power....some say he should just go to the BODY of Pac..going to the body early and often is a good strategy when the other guy can't punch....but MANNY Pac can punch like a toro and is incredibly fast..I don't think Cotto has the punch resistance...

And how much body shots can Cotto land...Pacquiao jumping around coming in and out in angles..not standing infront of anybody..look at the DLH fight..he was coming in from this angle..getting out the way from a different angles jumping in and out...

But if Cotto is effective w/ body shots..Pacquiao is in trouble..otherwise..Cotto is FUCKED...

 

Good match-up, a logical fight for both fighters at this point...and should produce a lot of buzz outside the ring and excitement in it.

Still, while it's not an appetizer, it doesn't quite feel like a main course.

 

Damn if Cotto can bring back his form when he fought Mosley PAC IS FUCKED and will take a beating...............SOMOVABITCH!

 

If someone had proposed this fight would happen one day....two years ago, everyone including me would have laughed them off this site.

Impossible to pick against Pacquaio right now. He STOPS Cotto in 10, because Cotto will FADE late.

Cotto is better than the version of DLH and way better than Hatton. I think the only drama is if Pacman can stop Cotto or just win a wide ud. Don't see how Cotto can win unless there is a freak accident or something. Also, with Freddie Roach, he will be working uppercuts with Pacman. They way Cotto bends his hands down; he is in for a Titoesque beating. Something warms my heart at the day after with all the Puerto Rican woman with black eyes the next day. It won't be a good day for the Slumenwealth of Puerto Rico.

 

It amazes me how most of you are picking Pacman to walk right through the best welterweight in the world. You guy's are putting Pacman on the level of superman RJ had at his peak. Many of you are in for a shock. I can't wait!

 

Cotto is not the best welterweight in the world. Cotto hits harder and is bigger and stronger but he is a least one probably two rungs less of a fighter than Pacman. I have seen bigger upsets. It is not like Cotto has no chance, but I can't see him winning unless Pacman gets a cut eye from bad headbut, a broken hand something like that. Cotto has a poor defence and chin. He is going to lose.

 

Pacquiao has a level that is Roy-esque. When that version shows up, Pacquiao is a phenom. Then there's the David Diaz level that everyone forgets about...

Speed didnt work when Cotto fought Mosley and Judah! Its all about the timing!

 

Pacman is faster and better than mosley and judah. He also has better timing than Cotto.

Since it's @ 145, I prefer it not to be a title bout. I know catchweights have been done numerous times in the past in title bouts but I just prefer it to be non-title if it's not at the official weight limit.
