You do know White didn't tell the whole story in that video right? He's just said enough to make him and the UFC look good in an unfortunate situation.
Nobody is to blame. What's Fedor supposed to do? bail out on the 3 fights he has left on his contract with M-1 and risk being sued? And the UFC won't co promote and I don't blame them for that either. Its just bad timing really and the negotiations should of never happened in the first place. It was just a big waste of time on both sides.I knew it wasnt going to happen from the beginning.
M-1 just had Don Frye back out of their Main Event against King Mo, and are moving their event from L.A. to the MMA hotbed of Kansas City because they tried to run an event in California without a promotor's liscense. And they want to force the UFC to co-promote with them? This is the equivalent of Kobe Bryant refusing to play for the NBA, unless the NBA agreed to co-promote their games with Kobe's company. It sucks, but what can you do but move on? There's still a ton of great fights coming up, starting tonight. TFK
hahaha, i love dana dropping the f-bombs, my kinda dude, no non-sense from what ive heard from a dude thats actually met dana is that hes a pretty cool cat
I wonder if they get more money out of the purse strikeforce pays and the co promoting compared to what the UFC would have paid without the co-promo... :dunno:
