I guess that explains why it looked like Forrest quit. That's what he gets for rushing Silva with his chin out in front of his feet.
i dunno what time the article that you got that from was dated, but Griffin's camp have already rubished reports that he broke his jaw. http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=ys-mmaweekly081009&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Either Way, SPRINTING from the Ring, Mere SECONDS After an Embarrasing KO Loss, just ISN'T a Good Look...REED Can't Verbalize HOW or WHY, but the Entire Aftermath of the Fight DIMINISHES Forrest to Some Degree... REED:mj:
This is the second time Forrest literally ran from the ring. The last time was after the Jardine loss, he cried and said a couple words to the crowd before sprinting backstage. He's an emotional dude to say the least.
I feel the same way. Forrest typically seemed pretty even keeled whether he won or lost. He was joking in the interview after the Evans loss. Something tells me he let the pressure get to him and he knows it.
Silva is top dawg but Forrest is still my boy. Under normal circumstances I would have rooted for Griffin.
