Who do you think wins this fight? Do you think it will be competitive?

"When asked if there is any 'bad blood' between Adamek and him, Golota quipped with a smile, "I love the guy." Adamek's response: "I don't love him, since he's a male, and I'm Roman Catholic."

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!

Oct 24th. Doesn't appear the fight will be televised in the States.

Golota said he weighs in at 270.

Hopefully he's referring to his walking around weight and not what he'll be on fight night.

It'll probably be an entertaining bout...and a good event in Poland.

Maybe Main Events can work out a tape-delay broadcast for it stateside.

Golota beats the shit out of Adamek, then falls apart mentally and quits in round 6 or 7.

I'm going to bring you a polar bear when i come to CT. Hopefully U.S. Customs doesn't get all cunty about it and ask a pile of irrelevant questions.

Good luck with that. Ever since the Chimpanzee incident it's become nearly impossible to sneak any cool animals into this state. :bangh:

None of them are champions. They're former champions. And all of them, given the acclaim they receive, should be held to a higher standard than the likes of Golota. Golota was never hailed as the best in his division, nor did he claim to be, let alone the best fighter in boxing.

Plus, he never ducked anyone. And he never fought like a puss either.

Well, I wouldn't say SRL ducked anyone, although he was very strategic when it came to the Hagler fight.

And it's not like Golota hasn't had mental problems in the ring that have caused him to quit when the going got tough.

I guess the main point I'm making is that guys like PBF or Whitaker should be held to a higher standard given the acclaim they received and all of the self-promotion they did. I don't think it should be surprising to anyone that there's fans out there who would rather watch Golota fight than Whitaker. I mean, for all of his faults and failed opportunities, Golota is usually in entertaining fights.

So Repeatedly QUITTING & Getting yourself DQ'ed DOESN'T Qualify as "Fighting like a Puss"???..

    You think so?

I'm not sure Adamek's the kind of fighter that will bring out that out of Golota.

But I do think it has a chance of being a good fight.

Haven't seen Golota in a while, though.

As much crap as Golota deserves, in a lot of minds he did beat one or two titlists...when they had belts (of course some of that may simply be that he was actually more popular than Byrd and Ruiz/Stoney were at the time, despite what he'd done in his career up to those fights).
