However, he was also rocked by several solid punches from Porter in their two-round sparring session. His handlers said there is nothing to worry about since this is just the start of their preparation for the fight and some adjustments are being ironed out.

I also heard he got dropped and ko'd for a 10 count as well.

If, that's true,.. 'if',... it's why I think people should be more reserved in annointing Pacquiao this unstoppable force that's bound to burn his way through the lightheavyweight division,.. I dont think the Hatton victory is a good indicator that he's the best welterweight in the world, and infact still has more to do to prove he's the best junior welterweight, given the talent that Hatton failed to fight that still remains.

Pac seems to be cashing out. It seems that Roach is trying to project confidence, but it all seems so pretended. He knows his fighter is gonna get hurt, BADLY. Cotto will hammer Pac all night long and will ruin his mug.

I heard that Arum was not happy with the sparring session, I didn't realise Pacman got rocked or KO'd though.

I've been starting to think Pacman might lose this fight. For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to be preparing seriously for Cotto, who is arguably his biggest test to date.

If it's true Manny has been lax in training hopefully getting rocked in sparring (if true) wakes him up.

Cashout?? I think its all bullshit mind games.....Pacquiao will more more prepared and ready for this fight than any other fight in his life....he just want to make Cotto think he won't be...

Dropped in sparring? Probably. KO'd for a ten count? Unlikely. It's not like they would even count. They'd be too busy crapping themselves.

Theres a lot of conflicting reports coming out of Pac's camp. I think this news is old. I read Porter was doing well and landing some sharp jabs on Pac. Then as soon as two days ago I was reading Pac was lighting up Porter, and slipping his shots. Reportedly Roach was extremely impressed, whereas a couple of days before that Roach was unhappay and Arum said Pac "had a lot of work to do". Reportedly he looked exhausted after the recent sparring session with Pac, and Pac was saying he's fine now and there's no need to panic.

I'm at work right now but I'll see if I can find the link when I have time.

What a tool, if anyones last 2 fights would suggest they are cashing out, it certainly isn't Pacquiao.

I haven't been saying this for years at all, in fact this is the first time I've said this.

I've picked Pacman to win every fight since the Morales fight, apart from Oscar, where in all honesty I thought Oscar was simply too big.

At one point it looked like Pacman had lost his hunger, and I said as much.

Even then, I never thought he didn't take training seriously, just that IN THE RING, he'd lost that raw animalistic desire to fight.

He's sparring with Jose Luis Castillo now, along with Shawn Porter.

I think Castillo is probably a good choice as a sparring partner, although at 147, I don't think he hits nearly as hard or is as quick.

Roach is denying the rumors that Pac was dropped. He claims he offers all sparring partners $1000 if they can knock Manny down, and he hasn't paid anyone, ever.

In a case like this, where a fighter is trying to emulate somebody else, the sparring partner gets dropped fairly often.

Whatever is the case, I just have had about enough of Freddie Roach. Next he will say Pacman is knocking out light heavyweights. Pac is a nice guy but I cant wait until Cotto puts the heat on his ass and KHTFO. This will end Freddie Roach shit talking as well.

    Don't be a moron Hex.

That's nothing out of the ordinary, to get dropped in sparring by a smaller fighter. He wasn't even necessarily hurt.

Especially given Pacman is the hardest hitting 140 pounder in the world.

Pac is a former what featherweight? Porter should be ashamed if he got dropped.
