I will say that shoes are VERY important when running.. the right type that is for years I had shin splint problems, that basically made me stop running. yesterday I went to a running store and they watched me walk, run, and looked at my foot and gave me a couple shoes to try it is amazing to me what a difference it is!! yesterday afternoon I did my first run in my new shoes and just a profound difference in how my legs feel! if you are running, go to a running store and have them fit you.
I just recently did the same thing. Went to a running store and they watched me walk and move around. The shoes feel amazing. I just got in from an hour long run and I feel great. I've been working out for the past few months, and my major problem has been running. I was running in skateboard shoes. ::
Are you still running? I've had my gait analyzed by profesionals, been through numerous bouts PT, consulted podiatrists, orthopedists and sports medicine specialists, and I still have pantar fasciitis if I run too often.
Shin splints hurt like hell... I used to put bags of frozen pees on my shins after ever since getting my new shoes I have not had shin splints once.. and I've dropped 22lbs
This. I changed to Asics 5 years ago and they've made a huge difference in recovery and general soreness. Superior to anything else on the market IMO.
