Agreed plus Santos is a southpaw. Bad combination to fuck with although Cintron has a pretty good punch as well. Santos dosent have the best chin, but its very unlikely Cintron beats him.

Cintron once voiced his opinion that he thought Margarito beat Santos and so he thinks Santos is holding a grudge over it.

 

Santos is fighting on the Cotto-Pac undercard against THE most boring cunt in boxing... Yuri Foreman. Hopefully he puts Foreman in a coma, so that that we'll never have to be subjected to him again.

As for Santos-Cintron... I favor Santos by stoppage. He's a much better technician than Cintron, and he might be an even bigger puncher. Kerm has a shot though, cause Santos is getting up there in age, and his chin isnt the best. I like the matchup alot though. Hopefully they can land it in PR. It would make for a very good B.A.D. main event.

Cintron is one of the worst fighters I have ever seen who regularly gets press attention and TV coverage. He is absolute garbage, overrated in every imaginable aspect. He is a miniature David Grant except without even Grant's courage

cintron is too slow, can't fight going backwards, got no chin and no heart. He's useless.

 

Well he did manage a TKO due to a corner stoppage of Juliano Ramos in the fifth rd in what has been reported as somewhat of a lackluster affair that had the fans booing in the first couple of rds.

Now Arum is talking about a possible Cotto-Cintron match if Cotto gets by Pacquaio. I got no problem with Cotto taking that fight. Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, Pac, those were all tough fights, Cotto is about due for a tuneup so why not? Arum also talked about matching Cintron with Santos if a Cotto fight doesn't look like it'll happen.

I think Cintron loses either one although I'm not sure I've ever seen Santos fight before.

 

Cintron is nowhere close to being the "bum" that people like to claim he is. People were a little embarrassed by Cintron's losses to Margarito, especially the first one.

But what people, for some reason, refuse to consider is that:

1. not only has it been shown that Margarito was loading his gloves, but also that not even Cotto, who's one of the most aggressive fighters in the sport, could sustain any sort of attack against the man with plaster hands

2. Cotto was also knocked out by the man with plaster hands

3. Cintron rematched Margarito: and this was before it was uncovered that Margarito was loading his gloves


Now, Cintron has yet to prove himself again since the losses to Margarito. And he certainly has a lot to prove. But I think it's premature to conclude, given what we now know, that Cintron is a, "bum."

 

Only Cintron should have 3 losses instead of two. Cause he very clearly lost to Martinez.

I would like to see Cintron tested again to see what he's got. I would love to see him fight Mosley or Williams. Hell put him in there against Berto.

Cintron is barely a world class fighter. He isn't a bum, but he isn't elite.

 

He may not be a bum, but he isn't nearly as good as you think he is. Thinking he'd stand a chance against Mosley, Cotto, or Clottey is severly overrating him. All 3 of those guys stop him. I've been saying forever that I'd love to see Cintron face Berto and even Cintron says he's been trying to fight Berto but Berto is looking in another direction.

Also your point that Cotto also lost to Margarito doesn't mean much. Cotto lasted nearly twice as long as Cintron in both of his fights against Margs. Plus Cotto was far ahead on points whereas Cintron couldn't sustain his gameplan for more than a few rds before Margarito's pressure had him falling apart. No, Cintron is no bum, he's more like the stop gate between the elite and the very good fighters.

Where in my post did you gather I never saw the rematch? I did, it was pretty much just like the first fight.
