Walter Mercado, a well known boricua astrologer who is known in all Latin America and many other countries, predicts that the 'stars' favors Pacquiao over Miguel Cotto. This of course has caused a lot of disgust among the puertorican population. It has put a bad taste in the mouth of loyal Cotto fans and many disregards Mercado's 'prophecy' as just a wrong prediction. "He has been wrong before and he is wrong again this time." Mercado usually doesn't make sports predictions nor is a boxing fan.

On the other hand, legendary mexican boxer, Guadalupe Pintor, better known for his exciting fight against Wilfredo Gomez states that Cotto must retire. "He is finished. After the Margarito fight he has demostrated that he gets punished too much. He should had retired after the Margarito fight. He has nothing left." Pintor also picks Pacquiao to beat Cotto. Interesting that Pintor did not retired right after the beating he took against Gomez but calls for Cotto's retirement...:notallthere:

I just read that a fortune telling gypsie from Kazakhstan predicted Manny won't make it to the last round and that Ike Williams told her from heaven that Manny should retire because he doesn't seem focused 100% anymore.

Nick Beggs, bass player for Kajagoogoo, also stand in bass player for ABC on "VH-1's Bands Reunited" when ABC's original bass player refused to reunite with his mates, has picked a draw tonight.

Take it to the bank. :cheer:

Walter Mercado is an internationally known celebrity-astrologer. Even presidents from many countries have used his services. He might be a fraud (and a fag), but when he makes a prediction multitudes listens.

He is all seeing and all knowing.

Panchy amazes me in that he has the greatest Asian martial artist ever in his avatar and he picked against the greatest Asian boxer ever in this fight as they are so similar in build and appearance.
