You were wrong. Like I said, Manny is a freak of nature, don't underestimate him again. Thanks, Mex Wed :kidcool:
I know about 20 other people picked Cotto, but I had to call you out because you were almost dismissive of Pacman's chances ;) Manny is indeed the man. So good that weight classes don't even apply to him. :kidcool:
Yeah, because it seems like Floyd was right...Manny has access to the best PEDs available. :: I kid, I kid. Manny is just a freak of nature like you said..a fucking anomaly. This fucker seems to get stronger as he moves up in weight and is able to retain the same speed he had at lower weights. It's scary, really. For the record, Manny has been in my top four favorite fighters for a while now along with Cotto and the Marquez brothers. I just felt he was getting wee bit overrated after careful and selective match making and biting off more than he could chew with this fight. Clearly I was wrong, and after last night, I'm a believer. Cotto looked as good as ever in the early rounds and Manny was able to weather an early storm and destoy him. I always thought Mayweather would outpoint Pac, clearly. But now, I'm not so sure if Floyd has what it takes to keep Pac honest or if he'll be able to avoid Pac's torrents of punches.
Good post good post, I agree. And indeed, early on Cotto DID look sharp, as sharp as he ever has. I've been a believer since the Barrera fight, but it even took me a while to realise what a freak of nature he is, the illogical way he has completely retained his speed and increased power up so many weight divisions. Truly an anomaly. Probably the only fighter in history that has demonstrated that to such an extent.
