Just curious, in all honesty, did you really think Cotto would beat Manny, or did you pick him because you felt obliged to, being Puerto Rican and all?

I thought Cotto was going to be too big. I have been watching boxing for 20 years and as of recent my predictions are all fucked up. I aint gonna front, sometimes I pick fighters from Puerto Rico from the heart and not with my head. Thats my downfall. I admit it fuckers. :bangh:

Hex, I know sometimes (well most of the time) you'll pick a Puerto Rican fighter just because he is Puerto Rican, but are you saying this time, you sincerely thought Cotto would win?

The reason I ask, is I kind of got the feeling that both you and ILLU secretly thought Pacquiao would win, but felt obliged to pick Cotto.

After Tito, i never emotionally invested in a fighter again. You should do the same. Pick with your gut, never your heart. Your heart with hurt you

Its not our fought. Boxing is in the heart of every Puerto Rican. Its in our nature to be emotionally invested in our fighters. But we have to overcome that, because we take losses too hard. I overcame it. It was hard but needed to be done. I promised myself i would never go through another moment like that of the Tito loss

That's part of the game bro, I "invested" in Manny ever since the Ledwaba fight, when everyone was picking Barrera, Morales, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto and the like over him I stuck with the guy, and hopefully the ride won't stop. Even if it does, I never expected him to get to this point, and I'm glad I stuck with him through all this time. Investing in fighters is a good thing man, just pick the right guy next time

I agree with what you said about fools that don't watch boxing.

Today I talk to this fool who has been watching the big ppv fights lately.

He claims Cotto lost because he fought a stupid fight. Apparently all Cotto had to do was circle to the right all night. :notallthere:

I wanted to swing at him just for saying stupid shit like that.

I hate it when fools act like sporst are that simple at that higher level.
