With injuries to Lesnar, Carwin, Gonzaga and Nog, that makes Dos Santos vs. Velasquez for the interim belt the only fight left that makes any sense at all.

Bad run for the UFC. I'm pissed off as a fan because we are getting garbage/retread matchups. They need to start establishing new stars, not bringing back old ones. :stir:

Because of the UFC I had to drive five hours to watch a real fight in Pacquiao/Cotto. I couldn't be happier to see this long line of injuries. Now more than ever I want this organization and sport to go away.

Or if either boxing or UFC could move their big fights to friday, that would be cool.

Either way, when Couture/Vera got priority over boxing in every sports bar in my area, I vowed to never watch the UFC again.

Why not just order the PPV at home?

Would if I could, man. I just moved across the country and I'm staying in a place that already has basic cable set up. I can't order PPV for the first time in a decade.

UFC almost made me miss the biggest event of the year in my favorite sport. Now it's personal.

I had to deal with this a few years back. I talked to a bar owner, he told me it is just waaaaayy to expensive to do the boxing ppv's in a bar anymore. They charge him so much and then send a person to count heads in the bar on fight night and charge him per head on top of that. He said the UFC charges him a flat rate of just under 1000 bones and thats it. He said he makes that up on the door cover alone, then all the drink and food sales are profit. Boxing really screwed themselves out of the sports bars.
