pacquiao suffered a busted eardrum and had a rough fight with cotto. doesnt seem like its in his best interest to take this fight so soon. not to mention that a promotion such as this will require several months.

UFC 111, GSP vs Hardy is scheduled for March 27, so it'll be interesting if they go head to head. GSP is a pretty good PPV draw, but the lack of a marquee opponant might hurt their numbers, especially if it's against a Pac\Floyd PPV.

I doubt the fight will happen in March...in May or sometime in the summer yes..but when it does Dana White won't put up a UFC PPV event..he will do some Free Spike show....Pac vs. May will still do over 2 million ppv buys...

i never thought the fight wouldn't happen, but i have to admit i'm surprised at just how quickly it seems to be coming together. I thought Mayweather would squeeze every last dollar he could out of this.

2 months is enough time. These guys are superstars....they don't need 4-5 months to reach out to a vast audience....they can get there quickly with mainstream tv appearances etc... And to anyone with a slight intersest in boxing, this is a MUST see. It gets to the point, where if you aren't gonna tune in to this, then you'll never pay for a boxing fight in your life.
