Wlad-Chambers is scheduled for March 20-th. When is Wlad going to step up and fight Ruiz? (I gave up on Vitaly, that guy is just not interested in fighting the best). Ruiz is fighting Haye, and Wlad is fighting Chambers.....what a disgrace...
Anyone either Klit fights will be a bum. That's all that's left. It's not like they are "ducking" anyone. There is no one.
Ruiz had 3 victories over heavyweight world champions. Vitaly has one. It's time for Vitaly to step up.Or Wladimir. I don't care. They should fight Johnny.
Of course not. Vitaly has the distinction being the head-liner of the one (and only) PPV in HBO's history that lost money (his fiasco with Danny Williams). People are smart, and can see right through Vitaly hype machine and realize that the guy is 1-2 in fights with heavyweight world champions.
Do you believe Klitschkos will keep fighting hand-picked unknown bums, instead of facing the guy, who has 3 times as many victories over heavyweight world champions as Vitaly does? Let me put it to you this way..... Remember the last bum Klitshckos fought? Arreola or something like that? You know what's the biggest achievement of Arreola's career? Beating Jameel McCline. Well, guess what? John Ruiz beat Jameel McCline.....in addition to beating Holyfield, Rahman, Oquendo, Golota, Valuev, Tucker, Johnson, etc, something that this Arreola guy never done. Why are Klitschko's deliberately picking fighters so inferior to John Ruiz?
I can't believe this imbecile denies the fact that John Ruiz is a more accomplished fighter than anyone Vitaly's ever beaten. I dare you.....no.....I double-dare to name a single fighter who Vitaly's beaten who's more accomplished than Ruiz. Go ahead......name the name....
Because they have the same style, hit hug, hit hug. Wlad knows it would be a gay fight with all the mutual hugging.
A fight between John Ruiz and the present version of Wlad would be a fire hazard from all the friction going on inside the ring. HBO would have to rate it TV-MA. It it were televised on Showtime it would inspire them to revive "Queer As Folk" for one last episode.
wlad just beat chagaev who was at worst a top 3 or 4 heavy. chambers recently beat that unbeaten russian dude and also beat fat peters. not sure what is left for a heavyweight contender to earn a shot these days. who else besides povetkin (who hasn't done squat since beating chambers) should wlad fight? ruiz?
Chambers is a decent opponent,.. 'the saviour' ..and Ruiz,.. only fight for the paper WBA belt that Chagaev had ripped off him heading into a unification fight with Wlad. Wlad's got some good powerful attributes, but he's a fucking cheat, a protoge of Steward's "cunning tricks" ,.. Vitali is an excellent heavyweight, and he doesn't even have a coach, ever since the Corrie Sanders fight, he's developed into his mental prime, he thinks in the ring, impliments more variety of punches to the body and head into his attack, he unlike many other European fighters has shaken off that strict amatuer style and is now a solid pro-fighter as a result of it. It's good to see.
Exactly! Z there is a small chance that he could out box WK on a bad night but I'm sure Manny is on top of it. Fast Eddie should have fought VK. He has a chance to box his ears off. This fight goes the distance w everyone being impressed with Chambers boxing IQ. :cheer:
Whatever happened to Povetkin fighting Wlad? I remember it was basically a done deal, then Povetkin got injured I think, but why has it been forgotten about now? Povs doesn't stand much of a chance, but he could at least make it interesting, and he's quite good to watch.
