Copy of Square Ring's grievance. Commission may have to look at this closely:

    http://www.fightnews.com/?p=33792

All these years Roy declined to travel and when he does he get's screwed (again!).

He needs to stop complaining and just accept the fact that hes shot. This will only make him look worse.

RJJ should've pulled out of the fight. Hindsight is 20-20, of course. But he's sort of fcked is my guess, given the fight occurred anyways.

Having lost, and by waiting until after the fight, he's basically sending the message, "well, at the time, i was concerned about it, but not enough to pull out of the fight (i felt my safety was not in jeopardy, despite the infractions i witnessed). however, now that i've lost, i will make it an issue."

"Square Ring".......If Roy keeps fighting, that Ring of his is going to get bored out pretty smooth pretty soon, another few KO's and it should be perfectly cylindrical, opened out "like this", as Jake La Motta might say:lol:

If it's true that they said they couldn't examine the wraps and that if Roy didn't fight (without seeing them) he would be DQ'd that's fucked up. Despite any outcome it would have had in the fight.

I agree. But from what I've seen (Mundine/Dib fights) and what Tam has told me, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

    Australian boxing is a joke.

It is quite ironic that after years of not wanting to fight abroad, he ends up choosing Australia, he probably would have had no problem with stuff like this anywhere but Australia

Well, or Germany of course, but that goes without saying.

Remember what Roger said on JMM-Floyd 24/7...."they always come back...they love that lamp light".

Roy loves the limelight. All fighters do.

All joking aside, that letter from Square Ring brings up some legitimate points, and evidence. It should be looked into.

Exactly. I'm actually not going to even consider this a legitimate KO loss for Roy. I find this more questionable than Margarito possibly loading his gloves for Cotto. An asterisk needs to be used next to Roy name whenever the Green KO is mentioned as far as I'm concerned.

Agree totally. I don't count Australian bouts as official fights. It is very corrupt.

Even if Green DID Cheat, the FACT is, Roy DIDN'T Say SHIT about this til AFTER the Fact...He Claims he KNEW they were Cheating BEFOREHAND, yet he Went Along w/the Fight ANYWAYS???....

REED Hates to Say it, but that Tidbit Makes this Greivance LESS Credible in his Eyes...Don't Wait til AFTER U Got your Ass Whipped to BITCH, Especially when U COULD have Addressed the Issue PRIOR to the Fight...

Fair, but the letter states that Roy would have lost by dq if he didn't fight.

Roy is shot, he should have retired years ago but fights on to try and prove some kind of point.....I'm not sure what it is, but all he does in my eyes is worsen his legacy with every loss.
