This is a fight that almost happened had the negotiations not broken down. What do you think would have been the outcome?

Personally I think Floyd would have lost a UD. ODLH gave Floyd enough problems and I think Winky's height and reach would have presented Floyd with even bigger problems. Plus Winky's lack of aggression would have limited Floyd with oppurtunities to counter. This fight might have actually been even more boring than Mayweather-De La Hoya and Floyd would have paid for it with a big fat loss on his resume IMO.

I agree. Winky by boring decision.

It might've actually been better for Floyd's career if he lost. Then maybe he'd get over his damn obsession with being undefeated and fight more of the top fighters than the fans want him to see, instead of wasting over 2 years of his career.

Fraud would have rapidly backpeddled and occasionally potted Winky's gloves and elbows,.. in the end without the referee ever warning Fraud for failing to engage, he would have emerged the winner by unanimous decision primarily based on hitting the guard with, as Double L puts it, 'crowd pleasing speed', and 'forum pleasing footwork' I'd like to add to that, given Hopkins apparent victory over Wright.

Floyd wanted a same-day weigh-in for the fight, in addition to the regular weigh-in. Wright was going to drop down to 154 (he moved up to 160 to fight Trinidad by that point), but Floyd also wanted a same-day weigh-in, where neither fighter could weight more than 157 lb.

Anyway, Wink would've won on sheer size advantage alone, since the question was asked. It would've been a shitty PPV producing no better than lukewarm numbers and a half-filled arena. There are plenty of fights Floyd could've/should've pursued that he didn't, but I don't blame him one bit for not taking this one because the reward would've never measured up to the risk.

Floyd shouldn't have acted like he would fight Winky then. Only to make demands that of course were ridiculous.

When will you guys learn, Floyd has a history of this.

Obviously?... I think he would have stunk the shit out of it, and come away a points winner.

Winky's MUCH Bigger & Taller...It'd Take Floyd a FEW Rounds to ADJUST to that & Find a Comfortable DISTANCE to Operate From...But By that Time, he'd B BEHIND on the Scorecards...

If Floyd DARES to Get Aggressive, he Runs the Risk of Being STOPPED by Winky...Winky's Shots would have GREATER Effect on a Guy Floyd's Size than the Jr.Middles & Middles he's Accustomed to Fighting...So Floyd would have the Option of Risking a STOPPAGE Loss or Unanimous Decision LOSS...

Either Way, he AIN'T Beating Winky Wright...

Floyd would have stopped by Pacquiao's nutritionist for some training supplements and won easily.

In all seriousness, I do kind of wish Floyd did have a loss.

I actually wish they would have given Castillo the decision in the first fight, as it's since then he's been cherry picking like a bitch, and not challenging himself.

I dislike Floyd intensely, but I do respect his skill and talent, and believe it or not, I used to love watching him fight at 130 and 135, I used to show fights of his to friends to get them into boxing, as even though the fights weren't exactly exciting slugfests, he was excellent to watch.

If he had an official loss on his record, I'll give him the hypothetical benefit of the doubt and say that he would have challenged himself more, and not been such a bitch in regards to selecting opponents.

Almost every great fighter in history challenged themselves in their peak years, gave great fights, proved themselves, and grew as fighters.

It would have been good to see Floyd challenge himself in his peak years too, and see just what he was capable of.
