G/Arum relations are tense right now. Plus Arum hates De La Hoya and vice versa. I think this is G's way of stonewalling Pacquiao and Arum.

You add that to the fact that G"s Schaefer caught heat for his hypocrisy about a year ago when he refused blood testing for Shane Mosley another G's fighter. There is also a possibility that he's trying to save face and not further ruin his credibililty.

JMM can't be THAT stupid. Maybe he is. However, I honestly don't think he cares about the blood tests. There's a possibility G putting Marquez up to this. They pretty much said, that Pacquiao can't fight any of their fighters without blood testing.

G must really be stupid or carry around a huge grudge against Top Rank to do this. They have small promotional rights to Pacquaio and will still make millions anyways.

 

I agree with your disagree. Clottey represents a huge risk for Pac as an opponent. When it comes to JMM, he seems to have seriously regressed while Pac seems to have seriously improved. If you further take into account how each has performed at the higher weights the fight almost seems like a mismatch.

 

It's smart to say this fighter is scared especially when he is with another promoter. In fact this is Arum's own M.O.
