Who wins? Would this fight be much different than their fight at 147? I think so. Definitely. ODH was much faster when he was younger and at 140 and would not have been weakened like he was in his welterweight fight with Pacquiao.

How do you see this fight going?

Absolutely it would be a different fight. The Oscar that fought Manny was shot and drained. I think a this fight could go either way. I don't think Manny stops Dela at that time and weight.

I'd favor Dela Hoya but Im not so sure. Manny pac is a beast, the guy has looked amazing in recent fights. I think after the Cotto fight we can really analyze this guy and see how good he really is.

I think prime Oscar beats Floyd but Manny's foot speed is a horrible stylistic problem for Oscar. I might lean towards Manny here too.

Im not taking anything away from Manny but the Hatton and Dela fights leave a lot of unanswered questions. I think the Cotto fight will reveal all..

Oscar outboxes him or ends the fight after cutting pacquiao. Oscar could tear some skin easily on the Pinoy.

Oscar had some excellent defense at this time and he had that shock factor the first time he hit someone clean much as Pacquiao does. But he also had some trouble with MAGO around this time, I think.

Tough fight to call. I'd lean Pacq, but I'd really really be rooting for Pacq. I hated DLH back then with a passion.

Having Oscar beat Pac at 140, means you think DLH is greater than Pac and people should no longer rate pac as an all time great.

I'd agree with that. De La Hoya was just such a beautiful blend at Jr. Welter --- I don't think he was ever better than here. My head says he stops Pacquiao in eight or nine, very fun rounds.

IMO, Manny decisions him. Gonzalez gave Oscar some problems at 140 and marked up his face a bit. I think its a close fight, but p4p at their absolute PEAKS... Manny is the better fighter.
