This is a sick double header. Mtagwa i think Mtagwa has enough toughness and just just enough speed to give Gamboa a tough fight. If he can land his right hand it will be interesting to see if Gamboa can take them.

Luevano is a good fighter who will be able to take Juan Ma late to test his cardio like Mtagwa did. I think Juan wins a tough close decision and Luevano is the most skilled opponent yet for Juan Ma.

This is going to be a fun card to watch, I'm looking forward to it for sure. I could see an upset happening in either fight. Gamboa will always be at risk of being KO'd. The guy needs to keep his hands up.

luevano is boring and lopez isn't always exciting when he's not knocking guys out.

gamboa should beat mtagwa w/ ease.

I have never been impressed with Luevano. He is a decent boxer but I think Juanma is too fast for him. I think Juanma will KO him impressively.

The Gamboa/Mtagwa fight is harder to pick for me. I have never seen Mtagwa just heard he gave Juanma a tought fight.

I wasn't ever impressed with Luevano either. If Mtagwa-Gamboa goes to a decision I would be very surprised. 2 southpaws fighting usually puts me to sleep and Juanma might have gotten brain damage from Mtagwa. I might watch.

I say JuanMa wins a 116-112 type decision over Luevano.

Gamboa gets an early wake up call from Mtagwa then comes back and sparks him in round 6.

I wouldn't mind seeing an upset in either bout though.

Gamboa destroyed Mtagwa in under two rounds. Landed left hands at will in round one. Dropped him with a left to the forehead toward the end of round 1. Then came out even more accurate in round 2 and dropped his ass twice. Refereee Steve Smoger waved it off after the third knockdown of the fight (second knockout of the round.)

That was the most impressive I've seen Gamboa look. I can't believe Mtagwa almost beat Lopez.

I'm telling you all right now! Gamboa will knock Juanma Lopez out within 8 rounds. Lopez has been very sloppy as of late and from what I seen tonight, there is no doubt. Gamboa wins it!

Great stuff from Gamboa. Mtagwa couldn't see what he was getting hit with and the power was too much.

I can't wait to see that fight. I would have liked to have seen how JuanMa would have fared against either Israel Vasquez or Rafael Marquez at 122.

Maybe.......Juanma seem to have terrible stamina. Even against the punching bag Penalosa he looked gassed...

Gamboa looks great tonight and a bit more in control of what he is doing in the ring, but i still think he is susceptible to counter punches. And if Juanma can do one thing great is counter punch.

The Mtagwa fight did worry me a bit...i don't think Luevano is good enough to beat Juanma tonight though..

Lopez gets his cleanly A LOT. Gamboa would KO him in 5.

And when he gets hit while throwing a punch his whole head whips around ( a la Hamed). That could be a nightmare against a quickhanded fighter like Gamboa.

Gamboa - Lopez is going to be quite 1 sided.

    Gamboa probably KO's him early.

I have it 40-36 for JuanMa though Luevano did land some good shots in every round so far. Good body work in round three. Lopez just is more effective and consistent.
