The Morales from the first Barrera fight vs. Vazquez in his prime at 122. What a fight this would've been.
I have to give it to Vazquez --- I never thought of him as being the classiest fighter, but he's gone beyond what I anticipated in his fights with the more talented, more subtly-skilled Marquez. Even so, he's out of his depth here, for mine. Morales was a full notch or two above him, & it isn't as if Vazquez could bully him --- something he could rely upon against the slightly smaller Marquez. Morales stops Vazquez on cuts, ahead on all three cards, in what is only a mildly-competitive affair.
I'm surprised a great brawl like this hasn't attracted more attention. Perhaps people see them as too far apart in ability? It's a great aesthetic skirmish, but Morales would definitely win it.
