The only time Brewster was in that state, Wlad went for the kill and killed himself. In the second fight Brewster was still able to take anything and never in such a state.

I don't remember anything of the Helenius fight being held in the pocket, but ok if you see a significant higher amount of bravery here, ill have to disagree.

Yes, but you're talking about a different Wlad there,.. I'm talking about the contemporary Wlad,.. the guy who doesn't go for the kill, the guy who will jab his opponent cautiously even if he's wobbling around with two shut eyes, Wlad-Brewster 2 is actually the better comparison to what I'm talking about,...

:lol: You have no idea how funny this was. The fact that I thought it was real for a second only to find out it wasn't just added to it.

I know, but Brewster wasn't in that state. I believe Wlad would have boxed more bravely than Helenius if he fought Brewster last weekend + I don't think Brewster would have gotten up in round two...

You are correct in that I said that about Manny at one time, UGBK, but Manny has shored up and stabilized his stance and defense, and I pointed out those mistakes to him in person, and he said I was right at one time, and he and Freddy also pointed out (and they were correct) that they had corrected them.

Manny is a much more complete fighter than he was 2 or 3 years ago, and is a heckuva nice young man as well.

Regarding Helenius, I was mildly impressed when I saw him on the Haye-Valuev undercard, and with better conditioning around the midsection like REED and yourself pointed out, IMO he may be a force to be reckoned with in the heavyweights in the next several years.

Best move for Robert will be to hire a good American trainer, like a Dan Birmingham, perhaps.

He is a big and strong kid, reminds me of another big and strong kid from Europe 40 years ago named Joe Bugner, who gave Ali and Frazier two brutal fights, but the kid is not as solid yet as Bugner was, but a good trainer will make that flab vanish in about four weeks.

Wegner is just fine, he doesn't need an american.

The best example I have ever seen of this was during Klitschko vs Johnson.

I was reading the RbR and Johnson was unconscious on the mat.

Jake Donovan, who knew I didnt have TV coverage, typed in "MASSIVE LEFT HOOK BY JOHNSON, KLITSCHKO IS OUT"

And I went to fightnews to check....and saw it was the other way around.

Ok, going on that analysis, he needs a trainer that is a disciplinarian, and Wegner ain't cutting it in that department.

I don't see these 'improvements' in Manny's style that you're talking about.
I'd still pick a prime Hegman over 'improved' Pacquio in about 2 rounds, tops.
Hegman's amateur record speaks for itself.

:crafty: If the Klitschko's released a rap single, do you think they would be ridiculed for being 'too soft' to rap?

And were justly ridiculed,.. now if it aint the fact that they can 'throw down' ,...what is it that would make them too soft to rap?.. :crafty:

Well...I cannot see Vitali or Wladimir losing to someone with a popular Norman-Gaelic surname.

Why are they constantly nominated in the most least intimidating looking fighters lists?, just what is it about them where you look at them and assume that they're soft? :crafty:

I don't know, maybe they need some jailhouse tats, a robust suntan and a bad case of gyno before they can be taken seriously.

Well, the taller and more suntanned you are, the more respect you get from World Leaders. Look at the love Silvio "Sally Balls" Berlusconi has for Barry O'Dooley!!
