Hey-Zeus, I know it was an unmitigated disaster against Mayweather, but even allowing for that, Marquez can defeat slightly better than this calibre at 147, can't he? Heh.
Defeat? Honestly hard to say. I don't believe at all Marquez would get shut out 12-0 by a less than top notch guy at 147 though.
Yeah, he's pretty difficult to assess because, in the first place, he was completely dominated in his one & only showing, & because we know that it's patently too much weight for him. On the other hand, it was Mayweather, of all people, & we know Marquez is a world-class fighter. It makes it pretty difficult to judge, but I really doubt Rivera would beat him, nonetheless.
