Tighten up his defense (especially in-close) solidify his chin, but, more than anything else, give him a different mindset. Hearns always struck me for two things upstairs --- I thought he was an arrogant fellow, in so far as he knew what his power was & probably under-estimated opposition as a result, & also in that he could be shaken when his foe wasn't. I thought he really lost his head against Hagler & Barkley --- even after the broken hand with Benitez, I thought he lost more control of that fight than he should've (harsh criticism you may say for a fellow who broke his hand, but I'm just looking at it from the standpoint I've seen more composed fighters, & I also thought that fight was a draw, not a Hearns win).
