The Morales who beat Pacquiao vs the Mayweather who beat Corrales.

    What happens here?

Mayweather by late stoppage. At 130 he could (and would) still punch hard and Morales' style is made for him

Even fight through the first 6 with Floyd taking over through the later part of the fight. 8-3-1 type affair.

Yes cuz Erik was KO'd so many times in his career to make you guys think Mayweather of all people would stop him...
    Jesus....

Anyway Mayweather by decision 8 rounds to 4.

Lets be real here. This is a mismatch. Floyd's speed and power at 130 would completely overwhelm Morales. Morales would not win one MINUTE, let alone any rounds.

Morales was tough, but he was no Hagler or Lamotta. Floyd would be hitting him with shit he doesnt see, and hitting him AT WILL. Morales has NOTHING for Floyd. Couldnt outbox Floyd, couldnt outmuscle him, doesnt have enough power to even bother Floyd. Its a total mismatch, and anybody thinking its NOT a mismatch is overrating the shit outta Morales, OR underrating the 130 Mayweather.

Silliness. If you think Floyd's gonna have an easier time with Morales than Jesus Chavez or Carlos Hernandez you need your head checked.

    You nunderrate Morales...waaaaay too much.
His aggression and offensive arsenal would be well enough to keep mayweather at bay and try to run and counter all night.
You act as if Mayweather's pillow fists would hurt Erik at anytime to ever cause a stoppage even if hit 100 million times...
I don't see a Mayweather - gatti type of an affair here...Erik had ten times better defense...

Indeed, guys who have less defense than erik and a lesser chin...and skill yet somehow...
Ahhh man forget this is useless.

    Dude.....

Diego Corrales walked through Acelino Frietas' punches for 10 rounds and was dropped 5 times by Floyd in the same time frame. "Pillow fists" are hardly the way to describe Floyd's punches....

BTW, I think Floyd ends up dominating this, but Morales gives him something to think about and some work to do early. If for no other reason than that Floyd would show him respect.

It was speed not power that put Corales down...
erik went through bombs against bigger punches from Mayweather and some of you think he would stop Erik...so please...
And yes I am exaggeratin with his pillow fists but he didn't have much power...his power was in his speed, and it was combination punches not one punch(Corales is the exception...he just couldn't deal with speed and couldn't duck a left hook to save his life)

I think Erik wins 2 rounds early and 2 rounds late and loses all the middle rounds, but he makes some rounds close...
But yes I think Mayweather wins very clearly, but this KO bullshit and out of his league shit needs to end.

Handspeed alone doesn't equal power. It's obvious that Floyd has heavy hands.

Anyway...Morales was rocked often by Barrera at JNR FEATHERWEIGHT...Mayweather can and would definitely rock him. Secondly morales' defense was always fairly poor....put a bad defense against, statistically, the most accurate puncher in the sport and you're in trouble.

I too think Morales lasts the distance...but he loses a 9-3 type decision in this one..and his face is an absolute mess at the end of it.

Hahaha well I even said I exaggerated on his pillow fists, but he was only an average puncher with great speed...
He caught ya off guard and put ya down, but he didn't really hurt you...
    Altogether I give his power a C+

Honestly, I would have to say --- without doubt --- Mayweather is your man in this fight. Convincingly.

    About a B-
But difference is barrera throws more, goes more to the body is more aggressive and wears you out, also in the fights with Morales they brawled basically through out the whole fight(except the 2nd)
    Thats going to leave openings...
something Mayweather would never ever do against Erik..so with what you are asking about Barrera's power pretty much doesn't mean anything...
Its styles, not just power than hurt erik.

The fight I'd be interested in is PBF vs. Morales @147. Now that's a fight. I think Morales takes PBF at 130 - shit, Goyo Vargas gave him a hard time. Plus, PBF was nearly guaranteed to bust his hands at 130.

I think for all the arguments everyone except X pretty much agrees on what this fight will look like.

Morales has a total diff style than Chavez. Its YOU who needs there head checked. Morales was slow, is NOT a pressure fighter, didnt have much power at 130, and was always easy to hit. Floyd would light his ass up every single round in similar fashion as what he did to Genaro Hernandez.

Floyd would win comfortably with Morales having some moments.

    Xplosive you talk nonsense.
