He's a bitch indeed, that must be the most pathetic trio of fighters to get sucessive title shot ( against the same opponent ). Sononwky is among the worst hw to ever get the title shot, hell, Tom McNeely ( yes the father of Peter ) was more proven than him imo
Why not? In his first few fights back from injury he fought and stopped Sam Peter and Gomez and then Chris Arreola. Then he took Kevin Johnsons "O" in a fight which Johnson did his best to make unwatchable.....he threw 1000 punches in that. This is a marking time fight for Vitali. Is Sosnowski the best contender? Hell no. But he is the best available contender right now while Haye sorts out his mandatory and Chagaev and Valuev make their minds up. Besides, both of those guys are coming off losses. Sosnowski fighting Klitschko is no different to Lewis fighting Botha. Don't confuse best available contender with best contender.
what a joke, neither Johnson, nor Arreola ( maybe Arreola was on the fringe of becoming a contender ) and certainly not Sosnowki were deserving contenders and they certainly weren't the best available contender. Vitaly regimen in his last fights is a joke, and that you defend it shows that you are one yourself. Botha was a far far better and more proven fighter than Sosnoski, so the comparaison doesn't hold. And Botha was a stay busy fight, Vitaly just scheduled is third in a row stay busy fight ( sure Grant was proven to be shit, but at the time, he had quality wins over Izon and Golotha )
I think Arreola and Johnson were not shitty fights to make since there was no legitimate contender available and both guys were unbeaten prospects. That being said, it is no excuse for fighting Sosonowski, who is a proven garbage fighter. Fighting Fres Oquendo would have more point than this match-up. Even when you need a stay-busy fight, there should be some kind of reason for the fight. It is no excuse either that even the great champs have fought as bad or no-name opponents (Coopman, Zyglewhateverwichs, Frank, Mavrovic). Useless fights are useless
Valuev, Chagaev, Oquendo, Thompson, Toney, and I'm sure there's a couple of others as well. Hell, even Ray Austin is a better choice
Valuev and Chagaev lost there recently and need to put themselves back in line. Valuev lost to Haye, which tells you all you really need to know, and Thompson..well....yes, he had his title shot and...lost. Toney is gone to MMA and would last all of 2 rounds with Vitali at this stage anyways. You are grasping at straws my man. Vitali took out Peters, Arreola, Gomez and Johnson. He get's this one. A "couple of others"...name them....:dunno:
I am surprised at you. A polack vs a Ukrainian in Germany......I cannot see the financial upside either.
It is obvious that there is nobody who actually deserves the fight. However, all the names Azaman gave you are clearly better than Sosonowski is. Vladimir Virchis, Sasha Dimitrenko, heck even Dominick Guinn is a better choise for a soft touch. There is no reason for this fight
Guinn has done NOTHING as of late. Virchis lost to a guy that Vitali stopped. Dimitrenko lost to 208lb Chambers and wanted to quit in that fight. Plus he is a Universum fighter and there would be lots of difficulty there. There is every reason for this fight...Lot's of Reason$
If money is a good enough reason to make a fight, then get Tyson in the ring. That would definitely sell more than this
Valueve lost to Haye, WBA champm, Chagaev lost to Wlad, IBF chamb Sosnoski lost to one Zuri Lawrence (and it wasn't even close), ''Jack's Titties Bar'' champion. Toney's would definitively last more than 2 rounds, and while I give him very few chance of pulling the upset, he's a far bigger name and a far better fighter, even now, than Sosnoski. Get Vitaly nuts out of your mouth, it's a pathetic matchup, and Vitaly is a bitch for facing 3 softies in a row
Guinn koed J.F. Bergeron last year, that's better than anything Sosnoski did ( wins over shot Vidoz and Williams doesn't mean anything. )
BS. They got Tyson in the ring to fight Lewis, gave him a title shot off nothing, bar the prospect of everyone getting paid, man. And guess what, that Summer, 2002, Lewis vs either Klitschko was a better fight. Lewis vs either Klitschko was a better fight than the shit Lewis pulled down in South Africa the year previous. But the Klitschkos were passed over. For a shot Tyson. I dont remember HBO saying it didn't make sense. I dont remember Max Kellerman getting his Yarmulke all in a knot over that one. :crying: I dont remember anyone saying that Wlad should get a title shot after he got KO'd by Sanders. Well? Did they? Of course not. Why should Chagaev get a title shot now? He just got one, and got whipped. Same for Valuev. Tony Thompson? You are having a laugh son. A fucking dangling-bollox giraffe. He got beat, by of all the fucking people, Wladimir. And now Vitali should fight him? People are only saying Vitali has had "gimmes" now that he has won them. Tough fights beforehand, easy fights after the fact.
Oh really? Is he that guy with the big nose that comes out to the music from the Stella Artois ad?:dunno::dunno:
To my knowledge,.. there's not much available at all, and he can't do much about it.. unless, Povetkin is available?,... Haye and Valuev both ducked him,...and that's not his fault. Maybe Boystov or Helenius should step it up,.. I wouldn't cry about a fight against either of those two,.. but I doubt Kohl or Sauerland would allow that.
That's Cause Lewis Fought Practically EVERYBODY ELSE....Lewis' Heavyweight Resume SHITS On EITHER of the Kilt's Resume, Dude.... REED:hammert:
Rahaman (2x), Holyfield (2x), Tua, Botha, Grant, Briggs, Golota, McCall (2x), Mercer, Morrison, Bruno, Tucker, Ruddock...That's Lennox's PRE-Tyson Hit-List... REED:mj:
Reed, either stay on topic or dont bother. The question is simple: who is the best available candidate for Vitali? And, if you manage to answer that one, consider the following: from a "Live Opponent" p.o.v. who was the better in 2002, Tyson or Vitali? Lewis fought a dead duck in Tyson in 2002 and he did it cos it MADE MONEY SENSE. Same here. And it's not as if these other guys....Guinn....Toney.....Oquendo...have done jack shit to earn it. Finally, if you have a problem with Vitali's choice of opponent, then you can write to Sam Peter, JC Gomez, Chris Arreola and Kevin Johnson. They all had a chance to stop this fight taking place. ::
And...what the FUCK does this have to do with anything??? Klitschkos pre-Sosnowski resume is Peter, Gomez, Arreola, Johnson.....and when you consider that this is probably leading up to Haye, I think we can fit in Sosnowski. The question is....is there a superior available opponent? Probably not. Is there a superior opponent? Definitiely...but the fight is too hard to make {Povetkin} or the opponent is not available {Haye, Chambers} or the guy is already on a loss and don't deserve a title shot {Chagaev,Virchis} and we all know what you think of the bargaining power of guys who have been defeated recently.....:shit:
Dude, YOU Just Made a Big Stink about HBO NOT Giving Lennox Lewis Grief for Fighting Mike Tyson...They DIDN'T Give Lennox Grief Because of WHO he Fought PRIOR to Tyson... YOU Brought Lennox Into this Debate... REED:hammert:
No, I didn't make a big stink about HBO not giving Lewis grief for fighting Mike Tyson. I made a big stink about HBO not giving Lewis grief for fighting Mike Tyson WHEN THERE WERE MORE LIVE OPPONENTS OUT THERE. People are giving Vitali stink for fighting Sosnowski.....when there is very little else out there, and the few "live" tests have either just lost their last fight or are otherwise engaged. That's the point.
How did Valuev ducked him, Vitaly lowballed him and refused to give in to Valuev reasonable demand. Klithsko's hot bodies must really mess up his idiot fans mind for them to defend this bullshit
Availability issues aside you have to wonder just how many dumplings Vitali can fight in succession before there's some sort of backlash. On the upside, Sobioski will probably be the first fighter Vitali has faced with a waist below 40" since Larry Donald. Every cloud....
Ok, once again....tell us who he should fight?:stir: Bearing in mind his last 4 opponents had around, what, 3 defeats between them.?? Sosnowski is a gimme. Haye is fighting Ruiz. Valuev is coming off a loss.....all he had to do is beat Haye, and he could have forced a fight with Vitali...
