Spinks by clear decision. Cory outboxed Mayorga too and Mayorga was clearly quicker and probably hit harder than Margarito. Tony was the better inside fighter than Mayorga and threw better combinations but against Spinks it is about getting close and that he could not do
Agreed. It would be a competitive fight but Spinks would get a 8-4 or 9-3 decision. Spinks was tough and had heart, despite the pussy style. He was at his best fighting slow guys who forced the action like Margarito. Margarito was more accumulation then 1 punch, and he wouldn't catch Spinks enough to get him out.
