In the long term. Drug cheating or the insidious precedent of guys like Roy Jones and Floyd and their 'why should I?' attitude to making meaningful fights.

This isn't some sort of polemic rhetorical question btw and please as much as possible try to make your responses about the question in the abstract rather than going over the same old ground we've all been over 300 times in the last 4 months.

Mayweather-Mosley is the biggest fight this year.

I'd say fights not happening, since war against doping has already been lost and sport has survived it. Nobody is going to follow a sport where the best never meet however, it is like NBA without any play-offs.

A fight Floyd was to all intents FORCED into.

I tell you what - if you disagree with the premises of the thread question just refrain from answering. I might be wrong in think Roy & Floyd have set such a precedent.....just address the question if you agree, ignore it if you dont.

    Good thread Tut-Tut chap,..

Fraud did indeed set a precedent,..and his groupies defended the dictatorship at the time,..and I was the subject of much irritance, and now the 'smiling humble mutant'.. has a legion or 'mania' of groupies who have chosen, a hero - a dictatorship, over a structural precedent for boxing, to flush out the rats with cutting edge chemical sponsors.

Alot of posters on this forum are stuck to either one dictatorship or the other,.. but they have more in common with thier 'enemies' than they realise.

    No it isn't.

In terms of raw pugilistic significance, Haye vs either Klitschko is.

nobody in the mainstream cares about drugs cheating unless someone gets caught. The RJ-PBF masquerade is what really hurts boxing. Its top stars should fight meaningfull fight, not handpicked opponent.
