    I didn't include the following:

gattis, Hattons, hagler/Simms, Mayweathers or Pacquiao's...because it each case only ONE of the brothers are worth mentioning.

I pick the Klits and here's why...

Heavyweight Division is historically the most prestigious division in boxing. Since the retirement of Lennox Lewis, the brothers Klit have ruled it together with an IRON FIST! :kidcool:

Even PRIOR to the Brothers Klit, the Heavyweight Division was in DECLINE...For the Last Little While Now, Boxing's Most IMPORTANT "Division" has Been the POUND FOR POUND "Division"...NO Set of Brothers have EVER Simultaneously Resided N THAT Division the Way the Marquez's have...

Question in any era: Who's the heavyweight Champion of the World?
Average Joe on the street: Joe Louis, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, "Them Klitschko brothers"..etc...

Another Question in any era: Who's the pound for pound champion of the world?
Average Joe on the street: What THE FUCK are you talking about?

    disagREED, Bruh!!!...

For about the Last 10-15 Years, if the Man on the Street Knows ANYTHING about Boxing, it's Who "The Best Fighter in the World Pound for Pound" Is...Roy, Floyd & Now Pacquiao...

The MULTITUDE of Titles & "Champions" has Affected Boxing to the Degree that the Common Man DOESN'T Know ANY of the "Champions" in ANY of the Weight Classes...INCLUDING the Heavyweight Division, Unfortunately....

got to go with the klits. Both are heavyweight champs at the same time. Just like they wanted since they were young.

The Marquez' are licking the Klits. It's just between the two of them it seems.

Disappointed at peeps not giving a shout to the Moyers and Fullmers. I think they should have made the list. I think one of the Moyers won the 154lb title and another one of them beat an ancient Sugar Ray Robinson.

The Fullmers were hard men, obviously Gene is the better known, but Don also had a very close title fight with I believe Dick Tiger, during which it is believed he simply showed Tiger too much respect, dropping a decision.

It could be argued that the Fullmers, pfp, faced better competition and overcame greater adversity.

Consider that Gene beat Florentino Fernandez over 15 rounds with broken collarbone, beat Sugar Ray Robinson, beat Carmen Basilio.....Benny Paret too. In fact, it is opined by many that Fullmer may have fatally damaged Paret, with Griffith merely finishing the job, if I could be so vulgar. He also got a draw/loss with Dick Tiger, who was a HOF middlweight.

JM Marquez for his worth has drawn/lost to Pac, beaten MAB, beaten Diaz, lost to Norwood, lost to Chris John, lost to Mayweather.

Don Fullmer, not as talented, lost to Benvenuti, Griffith and few other notables but he did beat Griffith and significantly, holds a win over none other than Jimmy Ellis, which is more than Gerry Quarry managed!!!

Younger Marquez has quality wins over Tim Austin and Vazquez to his name.

I definitely think the Fullmers should be in there. For sure.

Nah...if you put the Fullmers in there, people would have to consider them seriously.

between them, they beat Sugar Ray Robinson, Carmen Basilio, Jimmy Ellis, Benny Paret, Emile Griffith, Florentino Fernandez, and a few others besides...Bobo..Olsen, Joey Archer....had draws with Joey Giardello and Dick Tiger......

Who have the Marquez bros beaten? Barrera, Vazquez, Diaz, Tim Austin.....

I remember there was a discussion of the greatest or most accomplished sets of brothers in all of sports in TAA a few years back and I and the other puckheads around here all agreed on The Sutters

The Canizales brothers deserve a mention as well, although Gaby lacks in comparison to Orlando by quite a bit.

The Klitschkos are p4p good. They lose so few rounds that the only reason they get excluded from p4p is because they are too good.

Nah.....they get excluded because too many boxing knuckle heads deliberately exclude Heavyweights.

I think moreseo too big. Historically heavyweights have often not appeared on P4P lists because it's difficult to compare them to fighters who are required to make a certain weight.

I think thats exagerrated all the more with the Klitschko brothers.

    The Stastny's.

The Sutter's were just a bunch of power play specialists. Good in the corners and what not. :nono:

If you're only talking about two brothers, yes there are others greater than the Sutters as well.

However there were about 70 of them.

Once again, the Fullmers are out in front of the Marquez brothers. So Sly needs to do some editing.
