Ruddock never actually beat anybody that was particularly good at the fight time. Luckily for him, here he would be fighting a guy that is not particularly good either. I think Valuev might control the action early with his jabs, but he is easy to hit and has been hurt in his fights so I must assume that at some point Ruddock would land hard enough and take him out
