It's probably been done before but don't see it on the front page so have at it. Does Pacquiao outpeed, outwork and outhustle chavez the way meldrick taylor was doing, only in this case he doesn't get stopped...or does Chavez break him down bit by bit and stop him before the end? I know that people are getting sick of Pacman winning every Mythical Matchup since his assault on the Welterweight division...but sorry folks...he wins again. Pacquiao's handspeed, workrate, dependable chin and "southpawedness" would prove too much for Chavez...who was more economical with his punches...accurate and powerful though they were. I think Manny gets the decision here. Would be a tremendous fight though.
Considerig how great Pacquiao has looked in his last fights I think he is the favorite. Not even Chavez would walk through his punches, he would have to stay alert when pressuring Manny. This would give Manny enough time to keep his distance and move away. Gruelling fight but Manny lands more and wins about 8-4
I dont know guys... Chavez is a lot tougher than the guys Manny has recently fought and a hell of a lot more accomplished... I think Manny is great too, but there seems to be a trend towards overrating him to a degree based on exemplary results against solid but unspectacular fighters the one indisputably great fighter he's fought in recent years was JMM who gave him hell each time... that was at 130-135 range, where Julio was at his best... and I dont care what anybody says, Chavez was definitley greater than JMM
Been done a few times here but I still favor Chavez for a few reasons. Pacquiao hasn't looked his best when forced backward, although he has improved a lot in this regard. Secondly Chavez had the chin, and the will to walk through fire. I'm still not convinced he could handle Julio on the inside and absorb the vicious body assault.
I'll admit (reluctantly) Chavez was greater than Marquez, but his style is a whole lot less conducive to giving Pacquiao trouble than Marquez's, which closes the gap quite a bit. Not sure who I'd pick, but I think a lesser fighter with Chavez's style would be slaughtered outright by Pacquiao. I can see either man winning this. Maybe the Chavez of his early 140 tenure is just a little easier to imagine succeeding. Pacquiao would be tested in a unique way to this point in his career, & to a unique extent, as well.
Chavez would stand no chance. Gay Marquez has a style far more suited to give Manny problems. Chavez would be bludgeoned silly. Honestly, I think Pacquiao would stop him in a fairly 1 sided fight.
No, it stays the same, it's equally funny everytime. It's especially funny when you happen to have a clear recollection of Marquez's Japanese boyfriend touching his leg when you write it though. Incidentally I'm a fan of Gay Marquez, I've come to like him and appreciate him as a fighter, especially since he's become more aggressive later in his career. I call him Gay Marquez for lighthearted fun - which is precisely why I called you a stuck up arsehole.
I disagree. Yes Chavez had a chin but he wont be able to take the fire for too long without getting stopped! Pacman got some serious power with speed. To top it off the punches come from weird angles.
I'm right? Are you retarded as well as stuck up? How can I be right, when in no possible way did I insinuate you shouldn't waste your time with me :: What an absolute fucktard you are. PS - You're gay.
