I agree. And nog really is so obviously shot, he is not close to the fighter he was. To be fair, Mir looked ok in those fights (well, 2 of them) - but Mir is nothing special, and doesn't know what the fuck to do when someone starts punching him.
I'm not just saying this now.I've been saying this for a long time and I was getting tar and feathered for saying it in this forum.Well here yours apple pie bitches.
2-26-2010 "Carwin will beat Mir IMO so I doubt it matters anyway. The only reason to match Mir with Lesnar again will be the sake of a Triology."
Exactly but there was posters in here who thought that was something special:shit: Mir's been shot for a looooong time, hell an argument can be made that he's behind in MMA times as well.
Mir doesn't know how to take a punch, he's soft, it was pathetic for a big man like him to get dropped by this. Expected him to lose to Carwin and alway's thought he was way overrated too
I have been saying for a while that Mir was overrated. The win over a completely shot Nog made some of the more ignorant fans think he was the shit. Mir goes into a shell when caught in an onslaught. He has always been that way. Carwin/Lesnar is gonna be great!
He dominated both of them and I think that's why I personally gave Mir too much praise. Well, that and the fact that he was actually showing up in shape. But in the end, he thinks way too much and has a limited chin.
It didnt matter about being in shape or even gaining bulk. Mir has no Strength. He could bulk up, but he should have gained strength.
agREED... Carwin EASILY Muscled Mir to the Cage & CONTROLLED him in the Clinch, Prior to Damn Near REMOVING his Head from his Shoulders w/those Left Uppercuts...Mir LOOKED to have Gained Strength, but it DIDN'T Show Up On Fightnight... REED:hammert:
Anyone else impressed with how powerful and angry Carwin threw those LEFT uppercuts? Amazing for a righty.
Lesner aint going to try and trade with him. He is going to go right for the takedown and brock smash.
I'd be surprised if he takes Carwin down right away.I think for the first time in his career he's going to have to work for it.
What do you mean first time in his career? He was having trouble taking Couture down. but thats besides the point. Brock takes him down right away.
