Likeable as a person? I guess so, but IMO he doesn't have much charisma.

Likeable as a fighter? Sure, he hasn't gotten out of the first round! I think he loses by KO to Lesnar and possibly early. I still think he cracks Lesnar good a time or two, which is the least of what I hope for by anyone who fights Brock.

he seems like an ordinary joe. despite his impressive record, he appears humble yet does his job when he gets in the cage.

i was glad to see him beat down that arrogant chump frank mir.

No way Lesnar beats Carwin standing by KO. If Brock were to win I would see it by a superior wrestling game and winning by G&P. I see Carwin beating him on their feet.

Brock will trade initially like he always does but then he will go a takedown and ground and pound. I see Lesnar winning similar to the Couture fight but since Carwin will come out firing, the fight will be over quicker and be more entertaining.

Joe, Lesner won the couture fight standing. I dont mean to jump all over you, but do you watch MMA regularly? You say some strange things.

Brock had a dificult time taking randy down. That fight was fought mostly in a clinch standing. Then brock knocked him out with a punch to the back of the ear.

Carwin Seems like a GOOD Dude, but he's Rather DRY Honestly...He's Soft Spoken, Matter of Fact, Confident & Likable, but NOT the Least Bit Colorful...Fortunately, Carwin's FIGHTING Speaks For him & the Lesnar Bout will Sell ITSELF...

If Dana Puts a Good Undercard Together, that Bout Could RIVAL the PPV Sales of UFC 100...

Man! Look at all the vitamins and drugs and sh*t Shane Carwin takes daily!
Tyrosine, Geiko, multivitamin, CLA, MaxPro, Glutumatrix, finishing up with a bowl of Oatmeal.
What would these guys be if they didn't take all that sh*t daily? Just natural guys who use gym weights and nothing else.

Yeah, I also noticed he doesn't have that high-pitched irritating bitch voice that Lesnar has. I always thought Lesnar was dry and had no charisma either. Unless giving the finger and talking sh*t about the fans is considered charismatic in today's times.

He also played the bongos on Couture's head when Couture was on the ground. Not an exciting fight though.

LOL... Wow, what a stretch. Wrestling didn't get it to the ground. A shot behind the head did.

Yeah, the fight was over after Lesnar punched him while they were standing.

I thought it was hillarious that a guy with essentially no MMA experience and wrestling background was able to win the heavyweight championship standing up against one of the greatest fighters ever.

Well Brock has a Huge Wrestling Background. Former NCAA Heavyweight Champ.

Also, Couture's background is wrestling too. His striking has always been weak.

    Add in:

He was off for a year
Was Old and Passed his prime
Facing someone much younger and bigger

Him getting knocked out wasnt that big of a Stretch.

Yeah I'm telling you, these new breed of UFC Heavyweights like Carwin, Lesnar, Velasquez and Dos Santos are changing things. They're bigger and more well-rounded than past MMA heavyweights.

The days of guys like Couture bouncing up to 215 or 220 to fight at HW are gone. The new dudes are monsters in comparison.

It's no wonder the popularity of the sport is growing in leaps and bounds. It's amazing to see guys in the 245-265 pound range that are in great shape.

To think a guy like Tank Abbott, with no formal training, once fought for the UFC HW Title and compare that to the athletes competiting for that same title today? Amazing.

Yeah in the old days guys could just walk off the street and be competative.

And I know Steve was being trolly, but it really is amazing how the sport has changed.

Guys like Lesnar, who MMA haters love to say had no experience, has a boxing trainer, a BJJ trainer, a wrestling trainer, a Muay Thai trainer, etc. And they're huge.

This is a different world today. The next couple of years are going to bring some titanic clashes at HW in the UFC.

If you ask me, Carwin, Lesnar, Velasquez and Dos Santos still have questions surrounding them. Have you seen Lesnar against somebody of the current era yet? He's fought Mir, Herring and Couture. This isn't prime time comp.
Dos Santos hasn't fought an elite fighter yet either, nor has Velasquez. Unless you think no ground game Kongo and CroCop in his currently sad and sorry state are the greatest fighters walking the earth.

Give me the name of a top UFC Heavyweight that you would like to see Carwin, Dos Santos, Velasquez or Lesnar fight to prove themselves.

Obviously fights between the 4 of them would be cool, but name someone outside that group in the UFC that you would consider 'Prime Time Comp".

Don't work too hard on it because there isn't anyone. Guys like Nog, Couture, Mir, Kongo, Cro Cop, Nelson and Struve probably round out the other top guys in the UFC HW Division and each is a couple tiers down from the Top 4 in my opinion.

As I said, these guys are a new breed. They make the others look average, shot or over rated. Period.

LOL! They're not the new breed of anything. Look at how long Nog dominated and how many fights he had. Now look at how many fights Cain has had. Cain was working as a milkboy while Nog was champion in Pride. I'm sure Cain is proving his legacy now with his incredibly astonishing 8-0 record.:laughing: Let Cain have another 20 or so fights before we label him the new breed of anything. Same goes for Brock Lesnar with his incredible 3-1 UFC record. LOL!!!
New breed my ass! Go f*cking fight another 15-20 fights against a horde of talented fighters in MMA and then we'll talk about "New Breed" of fighters. MMA is still in its infancy. You haven't even begun to see the new breed of fighters yet. The new breed of fighter is still in kindergarten. The sport is young. Lesnar hasn't been truly tested, nor have those other 3 dudes. Get some f*cking names on their records first.
The UFC is trying to milk these f*ckers to make money. Dana White won't allow Dos Santos to fight Cain Velasquez. He wants to milk revenue by giving them both respective title shots in big ppvs. LOL!

You dodge the question. Who do you want to see on those 4 fight to prove themselves?

You used the word 'horde', but I'll accept one or two names.

    Waiting.....
