Is this the most retarded big fight name in boxing history? Completely retarded, showing no imagination whatsoever, mainly because - WHY the text language? Why did they feel the need to write it like that rather than just "Who are you picking?". Did they really need to skimp on those 4 letters, and make the title look like it was written by a 14 year old girl? It's a pathetically bad name for a big fight, and whoever thought of it is a retard. No disrespect to my man REED, I've come to respect his style of writing, and at least REED's is unique, not bog standard text speak. And even REED does away with the abbreviations and bastardisation when writing something more official, like an article. But bog standard text dialect as the name for a big fight? Not even a clever twist on text speak? I mean, why? I can't think of anything more pathetic and retarded. I'd like to find whoever thought of this title, grab his mobile phone and repeatedly smash him in the face with it, then suck out one of his eyes.
It really fucks me off actually. A fight like this deserves a much better name. I know it's just a name, but it's so cheap, tacky and shit, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
It should have been called "Speed kills" or "The Truth". Or something simple like that. Damn...G should hire the one that them call Sly...
you think this fight will bomb..or are you sying that no name would have been good enough? because, if the former, you've lost your mind!
I said "nearly everyone." Do you not know what that means? It's in the same vain as your now infamous "part of me" grandstand. ::
 I thought that was the title for Jones vs. Hopkins II....disregard... "Who are you picking" is a terrible title for Mosley vs. Mayweather...
They couldn't have done something like "Finally" (Holyfield-Tyson 1), or "At Last", since fans have been looking forward for this matchup for years? They do something lame like this? I mean I guess the title shows the competitiveness of the matchup and makes it sound like a 50/50 fight, but it's still shitty.
It is just to give Mayweather more leverage going into negotiations with Pacquaio.....'I did a million buys even with a shitty name!' This title could be applied to any sporting contest....even if they simply called it, 'The Fight' it would be less generic.
But it's not a 50-50 fight. Everyone knows that mayweather is a pretty clear favourite at this stage of their careers. Who are you picks would be a terrible choice of a promotion at any time but it would be more applicable to a 50-50 matchup like May-Pac.
I know it's not, I mean it's not bad from a selling point if you're trying to title a fight and want to make it look and sound more like a pick-em. Not that many people actually buy a match because of the title anyway though.
