Not at all. Just pointing out the obvious. Retarded isn't really the proper word, though. So I was wrong there.

The point is this whole rant about "new breed of fighters" in the UFC. They're all the f*cking same as before. Nothing different. They just haven't hung around long enough yet to get KTFO! Give it a bit.

This is FightBeat's board. Not TFK's board. If not for all of us, there is no board. Respect your fellow members!

I don't need to "diss" you. You intentionally troll forums(not just this one) with asinine statements just to get a reaction. It only took me a short time here to realize this.

    Case and point.
Completely baseless claim intended to incite a reaction. You are like a child, dude.

What??? baseless claim? Are you high? This is not a claim. This is a fact! And when it happens, YOU will bow down to me and call me 'MASTER HANZY!!!!"

I'm fairly certain you are the only one who thinks Semmy Schilt would beat Cain, nice troll attempt though.

It doesn't matter what anybody thinks. I bet you wouldn't bet your mother's life on Cain beating Semmy Schilt. :kidcool:
Anyway, the fact is nobody knows. The fight has to happen so we can know. Did your whacky ass know Tyson was gonna get his ass beaten to near-death by some bum named Buster Douglas?

    Actually, I probably would.

Schilt is a terrible Mixed Martial Artist, and doesn't even have really big knockout power. He's just a big ass sorta technical fighter. His takedown defense is abysmal, and he'd lose in the 1st round.

No. I think he would have a chance. You said that none of those guys mentioned would have a chance vs. Cain. Lol gimme a break. Why because he beat a old ass Nog?? If you truly think that an elite kickboxer like Semmy with MMA experience wouldn't have a punchers chance vs. Cain you should be embarrassed to be posting here.

TLC is a complete and utter bandwagoner. Watch how quickly he jumps off Cain's wagon when Cain meets up with failure.:kidcool:

Especially a Cain who almost got his world rocked by Kongo who is not exactly head and shoulders above Semmy Schilt when it comes to kickboxing.

The Velasquez/JDS winner would definitely deserve a title shot. I hope the fight happens.

Me too. Matching any of the top 4 against each other right now would be great.

This is a new generation of HW talent in the UFC. This isn't the world in which Tim Sylvia gets to be champion or even Randy Couture for that matter.

This is a different game now. And if you don't think so, go rewatch Carwin working Mir this past weekend.

And I love Hanzy always saying "this guy or that guy almost got knocked out"

Bottom line is Carwin beat Gonzaga and Cain beat Kongo.

A new breed of big dogs. I can't wait to see them square off.

Me too. But I wan't near impressed with a shortly post accident Mir getting stopped as I was with the way Carwin handled this version of Mir.

But you would actually have to follow the sport closely to know there was a difference.

Obviously that wouldn't be you. Silva? :atu:

I don't need to prove a damn thing to you, Trplsec. I was watching UFC since it's birth in 1993. Never at all gave a sh*t about Frank Mir in any capacity. Whether he was injured or not, bottom line is he's had a patchy run throughout and was never a dominant fighter. A guy who could win or lose on any given night.

I know exactly what Trplsec is saying. This generation of HW's is completely different. Huge, most walking around ripped at 245-260 and extremely athletic. True amatuer backgrounds. Brett Rogers falls into this as well. The next couple years are going to have some very exciting fights, definitely great for MMA.

Hanzy, Werdum wasn't cut after one loss in the UFC. He was 2-2, his contract was up, the UFC told him he was going to take a pay cut(which he should with that record) and he walked. His choice.

Uhm...let's see. Frank Mir beat Noguira and Kongo. Velasquez beat Noguira and Kongo. Yet we're supposed to classify Velasquez as a new breed of fighter basically from beating a couple of guys whom Frank Mir already disposed of?
Mir went in against Carwin and lost in an interim title fight for the right to face Lesnar. Now let's have Velasquez fight Dos Santos for the right to face the Lesnar/Carwin winner. It's only fair.
Then watch Cain get EXPOSED by Dos Santos and watch you disappear off this forum faster than Kriss Angel!!!

Yes, I know that. But the other guy is saying Werdum wasn't good enough to hang in the UFC which is complete bullsh*t.

For sure, he could be an average HW in the UFC.
