Chris is looking the best he has ever looked.

He has had some incredible sparring sessions with future world champion Marcus Johnson in preparation.

The report is on the website I write for, I sent the link to David.

Chris fought Garay in the amateurs in 1997, and got the short end of the stick as the fight was in Argentina, but I asked someone who saw the fight, and it was a helluva fight, but he said he thought it could have gone either way.

It will be the fight of that card, that much I can guarantee, and my pick is Henry in a very good and tough fight.

Garay is the better all around boxer, but it is not going to be an all around boxing match.

Chris' superior strength, power, and conditioning should be the difference as he wins a hard fought decision or stops him late in a brutal affair.

Congrats to Henry, but Garay is a bum, if he gets stopped by him like that.

Thanks, bro, and Chris appreciates the congrats as well.

Hugo got hit by a right hand that would have felled a lot of heavyweights tonight, and Chris sparred with several of them to get ready for this one tonight.

He´ll need to do that again against Shumenov, probably two or three times to put him away for good.

I guess Henry will get the winner of Shumenov/Uzelkov? Uzelkov Ko´d Campillo, so there is probably a good chance he´ll get rid of Shumeonv as well.

Great work! Congrads to Chris and Karl. It was clean. If Hugo wasn't holding he wouldn't have got caught with short right or pushed off.:partie:

Are you working in his corner Karl?

Or helping him in his training? If so, major props:bears:

You are a valuable member of this forum when you aren't harshing on us for not having any experience within the square ring:popcorn:

Anyway, I cant imagine how cool it would be to see a fighter you are involved with progress throughout his career. I bet Mister REED has some good thoughts on that as well.

Lest any of you punks think I've gone soft (as if any of you even know who I am, as i post so rarely) I could kick any of your asses in preparing a US tax return...Well, maybe not the cat from Hawaii who is also slaving away at this time of year:partie:

Stinger, how come you're always doing the talking for this guy Henry? Doesn't he have a tongue? Let him talk his own sh*t!

    Thanks, plrraz.

I don't know what Hanzy is referring to about Chris talking shit, he does not, he rather lets his fists do the talking, and he has been on the radio show here as well before, so I don't get Hanzy's inquiry.

30G, ringsidemike, pug, and REED all know Chris as well here, and they will all tell you that he is a nice guy and a gentleman.

My primary role with Chris is in an advisement capacity, training, strategy, nutrition, etc. and I am his media representative and press agent, as Chris' trainer is Bobby Benton, keep an eye out for this young man as well.

He has a terrific manager in Bob Spagnola, who guided bantamweight great Orlando Canizales to the IBHOF, so Henry is highly thought of in the boxing community.

There are, not just here but in all forums, posters that are envious and jealous that will post detrimental things about someone, just for the simple fact that they don't have first hand input themselves, and that is understandable, it is just human nature to some folks, but fightbeat is filled with terrific posters in the majority, save for a few jerks.

Like the guy or not, for whatever reason, no one can deny the fact that Chris comes to fight each and every time out, and he has not, and never will be in a boring fight, so fight fans get their money's worth with this guy as he throws down, and IMO is the most exciting light heavyweight in the world as he never backs off of a fight.

    Thanks,

    Karl

Strategy, bro, in all aspects, take heed.

He was heavier than 175 bro, after a few steaks, much orange juice, baked potatoes, and salads with fresh vegetables and vitamin supplemments.

Just curious. I read up on some article saying certain heavyweights made like $300 when starting out. I'm thinking Henry is making more by now. Is he a millionaire yet? How many cars does he have?

He aint' fought nobody. I mentioned Chris Henry's name on the bus to a fellow boxing fan and he thought I was talking about the dude at Dairy Queen.
    Titles don't mean sh*t if he don't fight anybody worth a sh*t.

I've only seen a couple of his fights, but I quite like him actually. Like someone else, not overly talented or skilled, but tough, determined, with decent power.

He's a bit like Frock actually.

BTW: 30G has a big fight coming up against former world champion Byron Mitchell in the near future.

    Go Otis!

Good pic. Hey Stinger, will Chris Henry ever go up to heavyweight and challenge the Klitschko brothers?
