Anderson Silva has always been one of my favorite fighters to watch. The dude has an insane talent level and his natural ability is amazing. However, I have been growing a bit indifferent with him lately because of his lack of killer instinct, clowning in the ring, and lack of motivation regarding his fights. I really hope he snaps back into it and he can put on some more exciting fights again because I really enjoyed his style. There are some fighters that never seem to dissapoint, though. I love watching the fighters fighter. The guy who goes in there, guns blazing with only 1 thing on their mind...damage. What are some of your ideas of some of the best fighters fighters in the business? Some guys that come to mind for me are... Rampage Wanderlei Fedor Dos Santos These guys always bring it. They are never afraid to press the action or walk through fire when things get a little heated. Even when knocked down, stunned, etc, they respond not by going into a shell, but by going for the kill. Gotta love that. I know there are more, whats your input?
I enjoy watching these guys fight, they always seem to 'have a go'. BJ should be on the list but he was very disappointing over the weekend - I think the dude was injured, he didn't go after his opponent at all. Clay Guida Dan Henderson Josh Koscheck Forrest Griffin
I don't think I can include Griffin on my list, although he has had his courageous moments in the past, his pound out losses to Rashad and Jardine and the pathetic showing vs. Silva killed it for me. It seems whenever he gets in a ground and pound situation, he sort of gives up and let's them beat on him. And he straight up quit vs. Anderson. Forrest also doesn't do enough damage for my liking. He sorta just wins by attrition.
The only time Forrest really disappointed me was against Silva other than that I think the guy gives 110%. Griffin IMO is a guy who constantly over achieves and that is down to his desire to fight and will to win. He was never the most talented fight in the UFC but you knew he would always give it his best shot.
The talent is way less but Leben has always been a guy like this that I have always liked. Always pushing forward and will knock your ass out or go out on his shield trying. a few more that come to mind Faber Sakarai Kid Yamamoto
