Ya having a laugh. Rich is getting a raw deal in this thread. A hungry Anderson Silva destroyed him twice, the same silva does that to 99% of middles weights. Franklin is/was a solid fighter.

I think they just had that slogan set up expecting ortiz vs liddell and just left it when franklin filled in.
Franklin is way better than a lot of you give him credit for. In between losses to Silva he had some decent wins, including Okami who is no push over, he stopped Hamill and Lutter and fought even with henderson losing a decision many feel he should have won. Then he beat Wandy who I will admit is shot but still dangerous since Rich doesn't have the best chin. I guess you can use the Belfort fight against him if that makes you feel better. It's not like he's ever lost to a bad fighter. Yeah, Franklin is a scrub.
Arguably. I don't think so. Mirko never did anything besides win an openweight grand prix. Which doesn't mean as much when you are a heavyweight. Rich was at least the champ with a few defenses, and has beaten Okami to boot.
He beat Josh Barnett Three times Beat Wandy in his prime Beat Sakuraba Lasted the Distance With Fedor He also has a decent K1 career. Thats more than Franklin has done.
