TEAM MAYWEATHER DENIES XYLOCAINE ACCUSATIONS

Apparently Floyd's reported use of Xylocaine is little more than a bunch of rumors from loud mouthed haters. Never mind the fact that he's never had another hand problem since. Personally I don't think it's a big deal to get hand injections. What I don't like is them feeling the need to lie about it.

I certainly don't. I just find it interesting that his team was so quick to deny it as if it was PED's or something.

But you would be well aware that the Xylocaine angle dispatched from the brigade of Pacquiao groupies, has been a popular one for months, in what they see as an effective defence to shine the spotlight back in Fraud's direction while sheltering thier god in the dark, and considering your previous posts on this matter,... :crafty: well,.. can't help but be a little suspicious when you are recycling the same tool.

If it's well documented that he uses this stuff which is apparently legal,.. the denial is rather odd, maybe they're so used to lieng they've got an instinct for it, even if there is nothing to lose by telling the truth here.

Floyd may have used xylocaine in the past, if I recall correctly. Specifically for one fight. But why would they deny him taking something legal? Probably because he doesn't. And because that seems to be the rebuttal for those who argue against his request for PEDs (stupid I know, but stupid is as stupid...).

I say it and say it again. You can laugh at Roger, laugh at Jr & Sr but make no mistake that Floyd has perhaps the strongest team in the sport. Ellerbe and Haymon know what they're doing. And I'm pretty sure they wanted to nap this in the bud ASAP.

Well they must know - since Nevada tests for it. It is legal up until the week of the fight. Then it's not allowed. Oscar De La Hoya has tested positive for it in the past.

Although Mayweather had reportedly used Xylocaine in the past, he apparently has not done so for years thanks to the 81-year-old Garcia, whose list of former clients includes "The Hands Of Stone," Roberto Duran, and, otherwise, reads like a "Who's Who" of boxing's greatest fighters, pound-for-pound.

 

Elerbe seemed to panick though,.. "Nope! never!" he's been clean from day one!". Implying that he believes Xylocaine is illegal,.. Rather odd,.. they're quick to shrink into the defensive mode,..but this time,.. it was a false alarm,.. I see it as a reflection of how devious and corrupt they are, in sync with everybody else in this business. Regardless of who they are and how they are,.. the drug testing clause is an excellent precedent to set, and maintain for boxing, it's put a ripple through the 'underworld' ,.. and it's why I need him to beat Mosely in order for this clause to continue to flush out the rats.
