Apples and Oranges, dawg. Before Floyd and Oscar fought, EVERYBODY was saying Oscar was gonna get absolutely brutally punked and humiliated. All the experts and sh*t were saying it. Stinger was saying it, everybody on fightbeat was saying it! Then when they fought, Fraud BARELY scraped by with a Split Decision over an Oscar who didn't even have a jab in the whole fight let alone any kind of stamina or skills close to his prime. And this shot Oscar took Fraud to the brink.

Floyd was the favourite, fo sho, but Oscar was seen as a live underdog and I think that at least 40% of people here picked Oscar, if I'm not mistaken.

This is true but you also have to consider...Sr. didn't want to rub Oscar the wrong way because he stood to make more money training Oscar than anyone else. So in case Oscar won, Oscar wasn't so pissed off he'd keep Sr. in his corner.

I'm pretty sure Sr. trained Oscar for the Forbes fight before turning to Beristan for the Pacquiao fight.

Oscar looked pretty crap in both fights to be honest, much of a muchness. Weight drained or not, I don't think it would have made much of a difference, Manny would have bashed the fuck out of him regardless - I think that much is clear.

I think it's also clear that Floyd would have fought to a mind numbingly dull decision regardless of how shot Oscar was.

 

If you don't think there was a difference then you'd rather be biased to the point of stupidity then to be reasonable. Was Oscar past his prime against Floyd? Yes. But he was also NINE pounds heavier at the weigh-in for the Mayweather fight than he was on FIGHT NIGHT for Pacquiao. Let that soak in a second. Again, Manny Pacquiao weighed more than Oscar on fight night. Oscar weighed more than Floyd on fight night. Let that soak in as well before you respond with your weak sh*t.

You knew he was weight drained before the fight, you've said so yourself, in fact you even knew he was down to the weight limit a MONTH before the fight. And you still picked him. Therefore, you can't then discredit Pacman for beating the fuck out of Oscar and Oscar looking weight drained. You knew Oscar would be drained, and picked him anyway.
