The matchups were good on paper for both events, that's unarguable. The fights just turned out to be borefests.
There were boring events in the past just as there have been for any other sport. It won't change anything. Actually it will probably give the promoters a kick in the ass to step their games up.

LMAO at TLC crying about the refs and the cage. If the ref sucked at any point it was when Aoki was dragging his ass like a dog with worms and got straight jacked by Gilbert. I can't believe Mazagatti stopped Gilbert from continuing. The little cunt wants to scoot around like that he should be ready to defend himself at all times. Aoki has HORRIBLE takedowns. We have a jr. wrestling camp up here in the Northwest, great for teaching the youngsters a double leg. He should look it up:laughing: The funniest thing of all is Gilbert went into Aoki's guard several times and the so called submission expert could do fuck with it. MWS said it perfect, he isn't an MMA fighter, he should stick to grappling tourneys. Jake Shields is just boring. Nothing else to say. If SF has any balls they would fine Shields, Diaz, Diaz, Melendez, Miller, and anyone else who participated in the brawl. Then CBS should fine them all as well. Then the State athletic commission should fine them again. That would take care of it all.
I'm telling you, the best part out of that entire Strikeforce event was Mayhem Miller trying to take on 10 guys by himself including those dicks the Diaz boys. And he was fighting them while laughing his ass off at the same time as if he was totally enjoying himself.::
Watching that clip with Miller fighting Shields' camp, does anybody notice that whenever a street-fight occurs and all hell breaks loose, fighters resort to fighting like hockey players as opposed to pro fighters? Grabbing shirts and swinging away with haymakers and sh*t like kids on the playground as opposed to keeping technique and form like in an actual pro fight? :::laughing:

I have a question. If the post fight antics were so horrible and Scott Coker is so distraught over it all, why wasn't it edited from the west coast feed?
Hell, in the live broadcast they used the 3 second delay to cut away. But they went back to it on purpose. In fact, after a commercial, they showed the scuffle from the start in slow motion. I also don't know how much control Coker has over what is broadcast by CBS. Even if he had total control, make no mistake that he wanted it shown. It really was the most entertaining part of the night.
Not just Miller. The Diaz boys too. Punching and kicking like school kids. Tugging the shirt over the dude's head and punching him with uppercuts like they do in the NHL.::

Unfortunately I have had boring days when I actually watched Bully Beatdown. Jake shields is a regular there when the weight favors him. He sucks so bad he can't even get all the money off the average Joes. SAD night for Dan. The Diaz boys show their true colors. PINK.
I think they initially cut away because of cursing, not because of the fight. Fights break out in all sports, baseball, football, basketball, hockey, hell, even Boxing had the fiasco after Bowe\Golota, and nobody ever cuts away. TFK

Come on man. Just because they put on boring fights doesn't mean guys like Shields, Mousasi, Melendez, Diaz, Souza or Lawal stink. They have a relatively solid group of fighters. In fact, prior to Saturday night, Aoki and Mousasi were on most people top 10 or top 15 list. Just a ridiculous comment Joony.
they are all decent, nothing special. It seems like they all are pretty much 1 trick ponies who need to work on other aspects of their games.
