    ODH/PBF
    MAB/Juarez I
    Hopkins/ODH

    Anyone see a trend here?

So they're no different than any other organization, promoter, or tv network. They'll do what they have to for the money. Corruption is everywhere and there is no stopping it.

It wasn't "Fixed"....I mean, if David got clocked and went down-and-out, he was still going to lose. Not win.

All that happened was that if there was a doubt, he would get the benefit, which he did.

Not a "fix" in the traditional sense. It wasn't like Graham vs Kid Gavilan, where one guy was totally robbed because he didn't have the right connections.

    define "fixed"

to me, "fixed" means that at least one fighter is aware that there is a script to be followed or that at least two judges are going to score a certain way no matter what the action demands

This is a stupid, irresponsible thread

How can an opinion poll be irresponsible? And you're a dip-shit if you think it's 0%. But I guess that's your opinion. Can I have mine?

I'd say the % of actual FIGHTS being fixed is extremely low. DECISIONS being fixed sure, we see it all the time. But actual fights? I'll buy it with Hopkins-DLH though. That body shot wasnt enough to deck my aunt.

I'd say a fight is fixed if one fighter let's his opponent win, even if his opponent doesn't know it. Or even if he let's it be close.

It's fixed if both guys are adhering to rules outside of official ones - for example, "no knocking the other guy out."

And of course, it's fixed if fighters are following a script.

All David had to do was make it to the end,.. and the title, but more importantly, a Kraut co-promotional deal, was established. El Terrible, even noted a bizarre bias towards Haye during the commentating, which normally would have been in favor of Valuev.

    Holyfield-Lewis was fixed judging.

    Liston-Ali was fixed.

    ODLH-Hopkins also an obvious fix.

DLH vs. Hopkins was FIXED....first few rounds Hopkins fought as if DLH was some deadly puncher with fast hands..He allow DE LA HOYA to look decent for a few rounds...and never really step on the gas..De La Hoya fucked it up at the end by going down from that weak ass body shot...

Hopkins could have put a beating on DE LA HOYA...from round 1 till round 4-5 when the fight would finally be stop.

True Vida, but how about Cotto - Ndou?.. :crafty:

I do feel sorry for Cotto though,.. but like a true Puerto Rican, if he doesn't win, despite the fact that his opponents cheated like cowards against him,.. you sell him down that river .......the one that glows blue?.

I dont think one percent or another

what I do think is that your poll is absurd and irrational

any poll which asks an open ended question with finite choices without even narrowing down the MEANING of the question is INTELLECTUALLY DISHONEST AND IRRESPONSIBLE

    you are a horse's ass
