    Wilfred Benitez

    Ray Leonard

    Thomas Hearns

What do you think? I have him winning those first two fights, but losing that last one. A wonderful, wonderful fighter, in his day. Been enjoying some of his handiwork lately...

I respect you as a poster Ramonza, but for the life of me I CANNOT envision Napoles beating Leonard! He beats Benitez, but losses to Leonard and Hearns. Thats not a knock either. Napoles was a BAD man! I think a GREAT matchup would be the Napoles from the first Cokes fight vs the Donald Curry of the McCrory fight.

Napoles isn't on Leonard's level as a fighter? It's a bad style match-up? Both? Something else altogether?

A combination of both really. Napoles was a GREAT fighter, but Leonard was a SPECIAL fighter. I can see Napoles precise punching giving Ray a good go, but Napoles never faced anyone with NEAR the speed, power, and skill that Ray combined.

Napoles cut prone skin is a bad matchup against leonard, but I think he'd be competetive, probably more than Benitez was, as long as he has a good cutman

I think he beats Benitez, personally

He's too small to beat Tommy

If 140 had mattered much back then, I think Napoles would be considered the best ever at that weight

He was not a big welterweight, but man did he have skills
