Mayweather did EXACTLY what Mosley was hoping for. Stand his ground early and trade with Mosley. Shane was EXPECTING the opposite and was STUNNED that Floyd was fighting the way he did at the begining of the fight.

    BRILLIANT actually.

Great old fighters can look great when they can use their experience & cageyness against a stalking K.O artist (see Hopkins-Pavlik).
They look their age when faced with a younger slick, faster guy. Especially when they are used to having the speed advantage themselves.

I thought Floyd recuperated quickly from being hurt and was even pressing forward by the end of that round. And definitely came out the agressor the next round.

Whatever...i don't how anybody can look at what Mayweather did tonight..and say Pacquiao would Ko him easily...or that they have more confidence in Pacquiao chances.

Look at Pacquiao face after both Cotto and Clottey he was busted up, he won't both fights easily, but he get hit a lot in the process. And the advantage he had over both those fighters won't be so vs. Mayweather.

    Speed.....

    Mayweather is bigger...he is stronger..better boxer...better jab...

and at least we know Mayweather still looks IMPRESSIVE DRUG FREE....Pacquiao?? We don't know yet...

Pac needs to take them tests. Shane looked shitty tonight without his juice. He was tired early in the fight, it was really embarassing actually, like watching one of them amatuer UFC fights. Where the fighters gas in a couple of minutes. There was no late rally like the time he fought Oscar with the balco supplments.

i know pac's been on a roll lately w/ impressive, dominant wins over big welterweights, but what i like to point out is that we've seen manny knocked down, outboxed, cut, and lose before. same can't be said about mayweather (this is not a queue to start another castillo I argument btw) .

floyd clearly is the best fighter pacquiao would've ever fought and in all honesty, even you haters wouldnt be surprised if mayweather administered the same whupping on pacquiao as he did tonight.

and unlike clottey, mosley at least came into the ring trying to win the damn fight.

I do, look at the Marquez rematch, getting beat up and stunned at times by the featherfisted fucken weak little midget. Do you really think Marquez stands a fucking chance against this suddenly extraordinary version who wipes out welterweights like butter?... Let's say if by way of incredible miracle Pacquiao agrees to the USADA testing,...(Trevor Graham, Pacquiao's 'secret strength and conditioning coach' who is barred by USADA testing programs would have to sit this out). I'd expect Pacquiao to come to the ring shaking with withdrawal symptoms.

Floyds only had 1 fight in the 29 months prior to tonight. He didn't look tired.

Pac without roids would get stopped against Mayweather. The Pac with roids will have a chance.

I think Mosley looked similar to how he did in the Vernon Forrest fights. I have to watch it again, but I thought Mayweather got caught backing up when Mosley was throwing and the adjustment he made was to not do that going forward...which allowed Mosley to smother himself like he did against Forrest. And once things weren't gonna go like the first two rounds, Mosley got into the same funk he did in the Forrest fights.

Mayweather is everything I could hate about a human being in one package...but he's got to be close to, if not the, best fighter that ever fought. I think we now even know that if you hurt him he's gonna be real tough to put away and he's gonna be looking to win whatever it takes. And I totally agree with his stance on the drug testing...with all of the drug controversy there has been, and all of the masking and probably new stuff out there that guys like us don't even know about, being a little extra cautious with the testing seems prudent.

The results of PEDs are downright shocking. It doesn't even seem real. With that in mind, it's doubtful Manny Pacquiao is a clean fighter.

Shane didn't get old all of a sudden. Your going to stop punching if everytime you even think about throwing one, you get punched in the fucking face.

Your going to get tired when your stiff as hell and constantly moving around with your hands shaking. Someone mentioned hand shaking as a withdrawl symptom to not having your peds, well...

Floyd beats Manny and I'm going to make a lot of money. If Manny grows some balls and takes the tests, (something I sure as hell would do if someone questioned my life's work), I will then be referred to as, "Money TexMex."

mosley should retire. Im glad he got this jin-free 8 figure purse but he doesnt need to be taking punishment like that at this stage of life.

Mosley got what he wanted from us. He talked a big game, claimed to be in tip top shape like never before and made us take interest in his fight and now he retires with a HUGE paycheque. That was the plan all along.:kidcool:
I've never seen a fighter of his level stop throwing punches after 2 rounds, and this is before Floyd even started settling in and displaying dominance. Sorry, I will never again believe the words of a 38 year old athlete who claims to be in the best shape of his life. Always believe your gut. 38 is an old washed up motherf*cker in any and every sport.

Floyd is not gonna dance. Mosley could step in and make another 8 figure purse with Pacquaio.

Nah, it's gonna be a very tough sell and fans will talk sh*t on Pacman for wanting to fight a dead old guy with nothing left. Let's get some younger guys in there now.

Yep, nobody juices more than those baseball guys. All of them were druggies who got where they did from juicing. They defied natural human genes and aging with drugs. I'm glad they all got busted.
