State your case and arguments here: I'm going to definitely say it's the Floyd fans and I have the proof to back it up. Floyd fans continously claim opinions and beliefs as down right facts while completely ignoring facts and changing history. Here's some examples: To Floyd fans Pacquiao isn't probably on drugs he definitely is. They may come on here and say they never said that but if you go back and look at their arguments they state it as fact. I've seen many a Pac fan say that there is a possibility he's on PED's but they do not try to state it as a fact one way or another. Example 2: No way Shane Mosley was shot against Floyd, it was definitely him being off the EPO. Now this completely ignores the fact that Balco's records only show Shane taking EPO one time. It also means that in Floyd fan's minds Shane must have been using EPO during the Margarito, Mayorga and Vargas fights, a time when he was under heavy scrutiny by the media for taking EPO. So their argument is he continued to take it during this period of criticism even though to do so would be retarded because he's been claiming from day one that he's a clean fighter. So do Floyd fans love him so much that they can't seperate fact from opinion? That they have to alter reality so their hero looks better? I'd say yes they do, they seem to be as insecure as Floyd is. My vote goes to the Floyd fans. Their definitely the most biased.
I can't argue if you don't state a case which is typical of what I just described. Floyd fans coming on here throwing out baseless opinions. I beg you to show me where I'm deluded or biased.
I don't know about delusion, but this is fucking ridiculous. http://www.petitiononline.com/ourfight/petition.html
The answer to this question depends on whether you're a floyd fan or a Pac fan, obviously. That is...unless you're an objective mature poster who's just a fan of boxing but has no affiliation to any particular fighter, you know..like Broadway Joe. A guy like him can offer a reasonable objective response to this thread because he sits on high and observes the rest of us.
Im a Pac fan (or at least was until he pulled out of the biggest fight for 30 years to avoid being drug tested) and I HATE Floyd. But to me the whole situation is so transparent that Im shocked anybody can distort what happened there to suit their agenda. That's true warped groupydom.
Can I get a clarification? If you aren't 100% convinced of Pac's guilt, does that make you a Pac fan and consequently, a Floyd hater?
I wouldn't say so, nah.....Nobody's 100% sure of Pac's guilt. What Im 100% sure of is that in the context of their negotiations (Floyd's prior concessions) and in the context of the size of the fight, drug tests werent an unreasonable request. And that avoiding them WAS an unreasonable pretext to wreck the biggest fight in 30 years. Not to mention that having his next fight in a state without ANY drug testing was a bad move from a PR perspective on that front too. Im 100% sure of those things. Also that the ball is completely back in Pac's court now - Floyd will take this fight on a level playing field without hesitation. So if they run from the tests again consider me 99% convinced up from 90% Pac is a drug cheat, along with all other reasonable people who've been paying attention.
But I consider myself a Pac fan and although I don't think he should have to do it, (it's his choice) I don't think Floyd should have to drop his demand for it either. It's both fighter's choice IMO. Floyd has the option to either insist on the test or drop it and Manny has the option to either take the test or not fight Floyd.
The fact that hut*hut (Huge Pacquiao fan) and Kauki (Great Mayweather hater of all time) support Floyd in the main arguments of the pacquiaoheads should be evidence enough.
Question. Is BALCO the only place in the world where an athlete can obtain EPO. Now I'm not saying that Shane used it after the DLH2 fight. What I do know is that he admitted to taking/using the drug during that fight. He submitted to drug testing and there were no traces of PED's in his system. Perhaps he obtained the PED from somewhere else and has used them throughout his career. Perhaps other fighters have done the exact same thing. Anyways I'm a fan of PBF/Mosley/Pac hell I'm just a fan of boxing and perhaps the only dude on this site that thinks that boxing isn't dying. But being a fan of the sport why not have fighters/athletes take the strictest tests possible. I think all sports where athletes are making multi-millions should have to prove they are clean. I'l Holla 5000
Cyclists use EPO all the time. And not just EPO - there are many more ways to blood dope. And you don't have to see Conte.
Well I pretty much agree with everything here. I very suspicious of Pac, I just don't like stating opinion as fact. That apparently on this forum means that you're a deluded nuthugger. PAC has to take the tests now. This is why I argue that it shouldn't be something that is decided at the negotiating table. It should be set in stone by the governing commissions with results made public. Then there's nowhere for ped users to hide.
If you're waiting for that to happen then you could be waiting for 20 years. The bottom line is that, in boxing, money talks. And fighters have to protect themselves. I see no issue with more stringent tested being agreed upon by two parties - it's the only way the commissions will come around anyway. But if the big dogs aren't willing to do it (why, who knows?), why should the commissions throw out extra money for it? They want to get paid too.
Yeah exactly. And this fight is SO big chances are good it might well persuade NSAC to suddenly take an ethical stand re: fighters safety at PEDs.:crafty:
Poor Stafford. Don't be upset because you don't have one objective bone in your body. You are what you are. Unfortunately what you are is biased beyond words. Oh, and remember all the times you told a big fat LIE and said you don't like pissing contests even though you are the KING of initiating them? Here's a hint, Einstein, you're doing it AGAIN.
