Depends on if he's even capable of making the 265 weight limit. If he looks impressive, I'm sure they would take a look at him.

You guys do know he was banned for a year from strong man competitions for a for PED's right? This was after he won WSM twice. Came back after the year ban and won 3 more times. I seriously doubt he was only on the roids the one time.

You better be on a heavy dosage of roids to be able to do the sh*t those guys do in World's Strongest Man!!!! Pudz is likely taking mad roids!!! But who cares?!? As long as he's strong as f*ck!!!!:laughing:

Pudz will never make the 265 limit. The guy is pure mesomorph. He'd have to cut a lot of muscle to make that and he'd be a zombie then. UFC should consider pushing that heavyweight limit to 290. The fact that there's even a limit is f*ckin' whacked!

Pudzianowski weighed in at 277 for his first mma fight. So what makes you think he can't cut 12 more pounds?

Everybody in WSM is on roids. Pudzianowski gets most heat for it cuz he's the only one that looks the part due to low body fat %. Don't get it twisted every other guy in it has muscles just as big as him but they're covered by layers and layers of fat so they don't look as impressive.

You live in the Toronto area don't you? Pudzianowski was here two years ago. I met him and even had pics taken with him and all that. Guy is huge. You should have came out.

277? F*ck me! I could've sworn he was listed at 307lbs or so in a fight poster. During competition, he was over the 300 mark. I might have him confused with another Strongman. There were some big motherf*ckers in those contests bordering 350lbs. Magnus Samuellson I think is 340lbs or so.
I remember Geoff Capes and John Pall Sigmarsson were WAY over the 300lb mark too.

Marius ain't that big, he can make 265 but his lack of technique would look bad.

    Any clips of Pudzianowski fights?

Is he purely a hype job because of his strength, or can he actually fight?

No, Dana White won't sign Pudz if he beats Sylvia. He didn't sign Mercer, did he? Should Golden Boy sign Randy Couture if he beats James Toney?

If Tim takes this fight seriously and gets in shape, he should win this one easily. But if he comes in fat and disinterested like he did against Mercer or the Can he fought on HDNet a little while back, he could suffer another humiliating defeat.

But I see Pudz as nothing more then the Polish Bob Sapp. Big, scary and strong, but what's gonna happen when he gets hit? When he gets taken down? When he's in a fight that goes deep?

I think Tim still has enough name value left in him where he could be an asset for a group like Strike Force. They're very thin at Heavy, and Tim would make a good resume builder for guys like Rogers or Bigfoot, or even someone like Lashley or Del Rosario. If Tim beats Pudz, he may be able to parlay that into another decent payday. If he loses, he's done. It's all up to Tim if he takes this seriously or not.

Yep! If Tim loses, he'll be back to flipping PS3s on eBay.
Autographed by Tim that is...which obviously increases the value considerably!

No he's not horrible, but he does look like a guy with only one fight, lets not be too hard on the guy after just his pro debut shall we?
Most are easy to say he is gonna be great because of how strong he is, and people hate that that means people will overrate him, but the same type of people are the first to call him shit just to be the other side of the crowd when you haven't even given him the chance.

Well in the spirit of the thread, TLC was probably meaning there is no way he is even close to being in the UFC. He honestly looks pretty bad as far as fighting and technique goes.

Well knowin TLC he probably simply meant he was horrible...i mean we kno how he feels about Fedor too... But yeah his technique is pretty bad...but who's striking as far as boxing goes really is that good in MMA? but yeah i do agree he needs a few fights...but look at it this way, who thought after Lesnar's first fight, that just a couple fights later he would be world champion? he has freakish size and as strong as a god damn elephant...with some technique he will be hard to beat.

Lesnar hasn't really fought anybody, Boxfan. While Fedor, Noguira, CroCop, etc have had 30-40 Pro fights, Lesnar has had just 5, one of which he lost and another against a 46 year old glass chinned Couture who was inactive for over a year and basically a blown up LH. Basically Lesnar's path to the title was set up for him. He never did anything to actually earn his title shot. Just beating that clown Heath Herring over 3 rounds. I didn't see Lesnar going up the ranks and fighting the likes of Noguira, Dos Santos, Werdum, CroCop, etc.
We also haven't even seen Lesnar against the current generation of fighters and that's where he'll really be tested.
I still got Carwin smashing Lesnar's jaw into the 5th row. But it remains to be seen.
I don't really put much stock into the UFC heavyweight title. I mean f*cking lumbering retard Tim Sylvia held it twice for f*ck sakes!

Lesnar looked better in his first fight then his last. His speed is deterioating and he looks less athletic and fresh.

Ever think that it may have something to do with the fact that his first fight only lasted 1 min?

I revised it, regardless, neither lasted more than a minute and a half.
