You'd be hard pressed to find any logical reason to rank Overeem over Werdum. Werdum has beat beter guys than Overeem has since they fought. Aleks, Gonzaga, Vera, Silva. Losing to AA and JDS.

Overeem lost 4 more times after that and his best win is Belfort and I was at that fight live and let me tell you how fucking boring that piece of shit fight was. Overeem laid on Belfort the whole damn time. Far from impressive.

Overeem has become very overrated, undoubtedly. But I have to see the more modern version of Overeem against Rogers before making a concrete judgment. It's not much different than Nick Diaz being so highly rated despite not beating anyone in the top 10 since his string of losses that got him booted from the UFC.

He also gets more points for being SF champ.

That means nothing. He beat Buentello to get the title for Gods sake. It just shows how much logic you use in your rankings.

It depends on your style of ranking.

overeem's striking has improved since he's been doing K-1. plus, roids or not, he's gotten bigger and much more powerful.

his fight vs. rogers will be very interesting.

He hasn't defended the belt in over 2.5 years. What points should he get for that?
